Last week, Stu from Plan Manage Assist, along with Javier from Care365 and Hayden and the team at Zenn Ability, joined forces to put on a community barbecue along the banks of the Nepean River in Penrith in Western Sydney. It was a day about participants, mingling, meeting new friends, seeing old friends in good company. We were also joined by @ThriveWell and The Primitive OT, who provided participants with an inclusive workout boxercise routine – where participants of all abilities were able to get in on the fun and work up a sweat with smiles and positivity. Happy Halloween!! No tricks, just treats when it comes to supporting you on your journey! Plan Manage Assist partnered with @BeyondCare to celebrate the opening of their new Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Cambridge Park. Stu, alongside Stefanie and Stephanie, transformed the new home into a spooky spectacle, complete with eerie decorations, ghoulish treats, and fitting costumes, enjoying party games and dressing up as characters like The Joker, Teen Wolf, and a Wicked Witch. The house party was a resounding success, with everyone having a fantastic time. Providers and Plan Managers must only claim NDIS funds for items on the list of NDIS supports. From 2 November 2024 once the transition period ends, if incorrect claims are repeated or fraudulent the NDIS may take further action, including raising a debt against the provider.
