On R U OK? Day, we’re proud to share the story of Lyndon Gill, from NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort, who is raising mental health awareness. After his daughter lost her partner to suicide in 2020, Lyndon was deeply impacted and now helps care for his three grandchildren. This loss inspired him to advocate for mental health by launching his '100 Days of Dancing' project, posting uplifting dance videos with positive messages to encourage open conversations. Lyndon’s videos, which have gained hundreds of likes on Facebook, remind us to support each other through simple acts of connection. His message for R U OK? Day is clear: "Reach out and ask, 'Are you OK?' We can help each other just by talking." He plans to continue his dance challenge during the holiday season, a time when many struggle. Build update from Turtle Sands! Our exciting new nature resort is taking shape with lots happening on the ground. The prefabricated accommodation buildings have arrived onsite and have now been installed. The foundations have been laid for the resort pool, and we can almost hear the laughter and smell the sunscreen! This momentum will continue over the coming weeks as we prepare to welcome the first guests to Turtle Sands on September 14. http://nrma.holiday/1id
