Quickstep Group is excited to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to grow our sovereign aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) capabilities. Over the past two years, our dedicated team has been hard at work developing state-of-the-art facilities at Melbourne Airport. We are proud to take delivery of a number of military components in support of Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy aircraft. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Deanne Barnett, Director of Programs for Northrop Grumman Australia, as she inspected work undertaken by Quickstep on major components for the RAAF KC-30 aircraft. Deanne's team supports various RAAF aircraft, including the KC-30, which is a derivative of the Airbus A330 passenger aircraft used for refueling, cargo, and VIP transport roles. This milestone underscores our continuing commitment to provide the best MRO services and our support Australia's defense capabilities. #sovereigncapabiities #mro #mroservices #ngc #raaf #ran #melbourneairport https://bit.ly/3XYhFg9

  • We were delighted to welcome the QLD-based recipients of the NORTHROP GRUMMAN FOUNDATION Space Camp scholarship last week. A fantastic day had by all and great preparation for their trip of a lifetime which starts today! #DefiningPossible #STEM

Following the success of the Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools Program trip to Space Camp Academy in 2023, the NORTHROP GRUMMAN FOUNDATION are generously sponsoring another cohort of students and teachers to attend U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama USA. The 2024 participants departed on their mission today - to participate in a week-long program that provides authentic, inspiring, and entertaining educational experiences in space science and aviation. In the lead up to this venture, we hosted a meet-up at the Northrop Grumman Australia Brisbane Modification and Maintenance Centre (BMMC) at Brisbane Airport. This was a chance for educators, parents, and this year’s participants to meet each other and talk to 2023 participants about their space camp experience. The Northrop Grumman team also provided a tour of their impressive facility.
