We’re saddened to learn of the passing of industry luminary, Luke Bowen. Our hearts go out to Tracey and Luke’s family. Luke led with passion, intelligence and with the interests of agriculture at heart. We are grateful for his contribution to the NFF family through the orgs he led & for giving his time generously to our emerging leaders. He will also be remembered for his key role in driving the successful live cattle export ban case and for his instrumental role in developing northern Australia. National Farmer Priorities Survey reveals a sharp decline in farmer confidence, with 50% feeling less positive about the future of family-run farms. Biosecurity, supermarket power, and federal environment laws top concerns. Despite the challenges, 89% of farmers still love what they do and 78% say their community is a great place to live.
