New Project // Fleet Rooftop Bar Perched 22 levels above Vibe Hotel Melbourne, this urban sanctuary celebrates the city’s maritime heritage while offering breathtaking, panoramic views of the iconic skyline. MLP Light worked closely with the team at Paul Kelly Design Pty Ltd to bring their vision to life. The playful spheres featured above the bar are Gamin Pista track from Modular Lighting Instruments, whilst Cloud Track Mini spotlights from Orluna have been strategically placed around the room to highlight individual zones and tables, working alongside Glare Less fixed downlights from Endo. New article by our CEO Dudley Hewitt on exterior light fittings. "Electricity and water don’t mix, especially the sensitive electronics used in LED lighting fittings. Keeping water out of light fittings is critical for the long-term performance of exterior lights. The best manufacturers have learnt the hard way over many years how to achieve this." MLP Light European Trip 2024! Last month some of our team jetted off to the northern hemisphere visiting our suppliers across the UK, Belgium, Portugal and Germany. Last week the winners of the 2024 Western Australian Architecture Awards were announced. Congratulations to all the amazing projects that were nominated! MLP were proud to provide lighting to two of the winning projects: Australia Place Lobby Refurbishment - by Cox Architecture Winner of the Mondoluce Award for Lighting Proclamation House - by State of Kin  Winner of the Marshall Clifton Award for Residential Architecture Houses (new) Well done to everyone involved, great to see such wonderful architecture in WA!
