Our five-gold star iCIRT rating was an important factor in Brittany Wells’ decision to buy her first home at Highforest by Mirvac, our brand-new residential community in Sydney’s West Pennant Hills. Brittany works in construction as a contracts administrator and was aware of the iCIRT rating system, influencing her decision to confidently purchase off the plan. “It was really important for me that I was going with someone well known and trusted, who put quality at the forefront of all their developments,” said Brittany. Brittany and her partner Jordan Do Rozario each bought a one bedroom apartment at Highforest by Mirvac. They both grew up in the area, met at high school and have mapped out a future together where they can live close to family and friends. Mirvac Construction has been awarded the highest possible 5 Gold Star iCIRT rating, achieving this rating twice. To learn more, please visit: https://lnkd.in/gh7HgDkk and https://lnkd.in/gTdnzuq5

We are very honoured to have received the 2024 Minister’s Award for Urban Design from the Office of the Queensland Government Architect for our state-of-the-art Heritage Lanes building and precinct. These awards celebrate the pivotal role of leading architects, landscape architects and planners in developing the culture, sustainability, and economy of Queensland. The jury described the project as a “living demonstration of what it means to be connected to place through a highly porous ground plane.” “This is urban design at its most generous and inviting,” the jury said. “It draws people into its pockets of respite with playful elements and native plantings that delight the senses, while creating a highly legible and memorable interface with the city streets.” The world-class office tower, spanning 35-levels, designed for 7,000 employees and incorporating more than 60,000 square metres of premium-grade office space, is one of Australia’s smartest buildings, embracing leading technology, sustainability and design. Mirvac’s Group General Manager, Commercial & Mixed-Use Development, Simon Healy said: “Heritage Lanes is the expression of a fantastic partnership with M&G Real Estate and major tenant, Suncorp Group, that from the outset, set out to be a world-class workplace and one of the most sustainable new buildings in Australia." Congratulations to the Heritage Lanes team, ASPECT Studios and Woods Bagot.

We continued our celebration of NAIDOC week at our South Eveleigh precinct in collaboration with Travis De Vries, owner and founder of Awesome Black, with a number of enriching activities, cultural displays, and meaningful lunch and learn discussions. The week’s celebration began with the Jannawi Dance Clan performing a guided smoking ceremony and a fusion of traditional and modern contemporary style dances. Tenants of the precinct had the opportunity to partake in lunchtime workshops and talks, while First Nation musicians performed across the precinct, including the celebrated violinist, vocalist dancer and composer Eric Avery / Kubi Murrawuy a Ngiyampaa, Yuin, Bandjalang and Gumbangirr artist. Kids were also included with illustration workshops with Emma Beukers and Jade Goodwin and First Nations Storytelling Workshops with Akala Newman, being a great success with all workshops sold out. The artwork of Maria De Vries, contemporary Gamilaroi artist, was showcased throughout South Eveleigh’s flags and digital channels for the whole week. NAIDOC Week celebrations were an incredible success at South Eveleigh with the whole precinct becoming a buzz of creativity, music and cultural inspiration.
