This year, we participated in Bupa Healthy Cities initiative, a month-long movement aimed at improving both our health and the health of our environment. Our 147 Medline participants not only exceeded expectations but also made a significant impact by contributing to the planting of 647 trees through Bupa’s partnership with ‘The Trees Count’ and ‘Landcare Australia’. This year our colleague Cath Fry and her wonderful Daffodil Darlings surpassed their goal to raise $100,000 for Cancer Council. Not only was this the largest private fundraiser in QLD, but the largest private fundraiser nationally! We are immensely proud to support Cath and such an incredible foundation in the fight against cancer.   This event honours our late colleague, Howie, who bravely battled cancer. Thank you, Cath, for your unwavering vision of hope and your drive to make a difference.

It’s that time of year again... Employee Appreciation Week! Last week, we celebrated our employees at Medline. To kick things off, we hosted our first Medline Employee Benefits Expo. Thanks to our partners from Bupa Health, MLC, Sonder, FleetPartners, Total Image Group, and Metropolitan Computers & Supplies for sharing the fantastic benefits and perks available to our team. Throughout the week, we continued the celebrations with some delicious treats, and our annual ‘Spin and Win’ competition. At Medline, our vision is to create a work environment where every employee feels valued and supported. To our employees, thank you for all that you do.

This week, we brought the Olympic Spirit from Paris down under, carrying the torch from our production department through our head office to our very own Medline Olympics. Our 'Olympians' competed in events such as ‘Free Throw’, ‘Tower Building’, ‘Paper Plane Javelin’, ‘Corn Hole’, and ‘Guess the Country’. Earlier this month, one of our very own, Cath Fry, attended the Queensland Cancer Council Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, hosted at Government House. Alongside other fundraisers and contributors, she was celebrated for her unwavering commitment and fundraising efforts in support of the Cancer Council and their vital programs.   Over the past 3 years, Cath has raised over $135,000 for the Cancer Council. Later this month, she is hosting her annual fundraiser, raising funds to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Well done Cath on your honourable dedication to a great cause.
