I had a fantastic time at Hort Connections with my colleagues Juxi Leitner and Nicole Robinson We secured a couple of new deployments, set up a few strategic collaborations and had some great interactions with potential investors. Lyro Robotics is going from strength to strength and addressing a large gap in the market for the pattern packing automation of non-spherical fresh produce. Lyro Robotics welcomes the National Robotics Strategy launched this week by the Hon Ed Husic MP "Mr Husic says robotics have already made a huge difference in dangerous mining operations and in agriculture, where robot fruit pickers have helped lessen the effect of labour shortages." Most recently at the CSIRO Robotics Showcase day Juxi Leitner Peter Corke and Jason Hampton-Taylor from Lyro Robotics had the chance to discuss our own strategy to contribute to the Australian robotic ecosystem with the Minister. At the start of May, we held our first Industry Night in a few years, and it was a smashing success! We had 100 attendees, including our incredible industry representatives.
