🤖 A new scenario has appeared! - "Crisis at Sea: The Leviathan Dilemma" 🏢 Oil and Gas ⚠️ Reputational risk 🌎 context Brunei ...Scenario: The Kingdom of Brunei is home to the renowned, fictional oil and gas conglomerate, Sovereign Energy Ltd. The company has thrived for decades, successfully exploiting the oil-rich lands of Borneo, and reputed for its unblemished track record in upholding environmental safety standards. However, 'Sovereign Energy' is on the brink of facing a potential reputational disaster, inadvertently intertwined with their newly launched 'Project Leviathan'. 'Project Leviathan' represents a formidable offshore oil extraction initiative, purposed to significantly boost Sovereign Energy's production levels. However, given Brunei's treasured marine biodiversity and the populace's sensitivities to environmental issues, the undertaking of such a large-scale crude oil extraction project offshore has inadvertently ignited widespread public concerns. As fears of a possible ecological catastrophe stir within public sentiment, a scandalous document leak exacerbates the tensions. The document suggests that Sovereign Energy sought to bypass certain safety protocols to speed up 'Project Leviathan'. Although the document's legitimacy remains unconfirmed, this potentially damaging revelation has only fuelled the public’s anxieties and mistrust. Amplifying the above instances, a group of influential environmental activists, known as 'Emerald Guardians', have launched an aggressive campaign against Sovereign Energy's offshore operations. They have managed to rally a significant portion of Brunei's populace and international media to their cause, casting a shadow of doubt over the company's environmental conscience. Project Leviathan thus has become the pivot of an escalating crisis that threatens to tarnish Sovereign Energy's sterling reputation and endanger its market standing. The company must now meticulously tread the line between commercial interests, environmental stewardship, and public sentiment to ensure its survival amid rising turbulence. Aims and Objectives: 1. To comprehend and manage the reputational risk posed by 'Project Leviathan' sensitively, while ensuring the project's continuation without compromising on safety standards. 2. To devise an effective communication strategy that efficiently addresses public concerns, rebuts misinformation, and restores the tarnished reputation of Sovereign Energy. 3. To strengthen decision-making in the supply chain, ensuring transparency, and quality control, thereby mitigating the risk triggered by potential safety breeches raised in the leaked document. Be a Playtester! A game system for roleplay tabletop exercises that is DnD 5e compatible. What is InsightRPG? InsightRPG is the working name of our game system that has been in development for 18 months, now opening up to public playtesting. This will be followed by editing, a facelift and then very likely launch as a kickstarter product. It is a set of rules that will allow people to run roleplay tabletop exercises, improving the culture and practice of how we (humans) think and work together. Our core design principles were to make this system: Simple To be understood in 10 minutes and not bog players down in complexity. Familiar To provide Game Master familiarity and confidence with game mechanics by not reinventing wheels. If you have played DnD, you can play this. Modular To scale in complexity to fit different situations and contexts. Pragmatic To be workable in many contexts. Insightful To be impactful and improve decision making. This system aims to foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration in a team setting. It combines the dynamics and agency of gameplay with the practicality of real-world business situations, creating an immersive, practical experience that enriches your strategic thinking and decision-making. How to get InsightRPG As mentioned, this is where we currently are in the pipeline: Past Inception Core design principle drafting Game design and draft Alpha testing Beta testing Present < YOU ARE HERE! > Open to play testing Feedback collection Future Feedback Reflection Editing Polishing and graphic design Crowdfunding Evergreening And now we need YOU to help us see the forest from the trees. No matter how many times you reread and re-edit something, you have blind spots and lack an oblique and perpendicular perspective. Please help us by applying here (https://lnkd.in/gbq7biJc ) and we will send you the playtest docs. We will aim to collect feedback separately but have a forum for playtesters to collaborate and compare notes and a direct line to us. We are really excited about this and hope it is the start of something

🤖 A new scenario has appeared! - The Cobalt Serpent Crisis: Cybersecurity Test at Polaris Mining Corporation 🏢 Mining ⚠️ Cybersecurity risk 🌎 context Belgium ...Scenario: In the heartland of Belgium lies the fictional Polaris Mining Corporation, a leading global producer of rare earth minerals. Amid the quiet hum of operations, a menacing digital serpent uncoils. An elite group of cyber-terrorists, known as the Cobalt Serpents, has targeted the company. The crisis unfolds in real-time as the Serpents send an ominous message, demanding a hefty sum to relinquish control. The miners are trapped underground, the machinery is idle, and the risk of a catastrophic environmental leak increases with each passing minute.
