We are pleased to announce a significant milestone in LOGOS’ journey, with ESR Group entering into agreements to acquire the remaining interest in LOGOS held by the LOGOS founders. As part of this acquisition, John Marsh, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of LOGOS, will take on the role of Chair of our Infrastructure and ANZ platforms where he will apply his expertise in growing businesses to continue to contribute to ESR’s ongoing success. Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Trent Iliffe, will remain as a consultant with the group for six months to support a smooth transition. Stephen Hawkins, SEA Chairman, has decided to retire from the business. Both Trent and Stephen have been visionary leaders at LOGOS and we thank them for their entrepreneurial prowess, collaborative spirit, and dedication to the business. We are very proud of our amazing people, who have achieved remarkable growth and success and built an outstanding project pipeline at LOGOS over the past 14 years. Our teams have broken new ground by capitalising on the evolving opportunities within our industry and consistently delivering on innovation and sustainability. The combination of LOGOS and ESR under a united ESR brand results in a powerful platform with US$156 billion in total assets under management. This integration reinforces ESR's leadership in the New Economy sector across the APAC region, boasting a combined $71 billion in New Economy AUM, a US$14 billion development workbook—the largest in APAC—expanding Data Centre and Infrastructure platforms, and leading market positions in all major APAC markets. Exciting progress continues at Prestons Logistics Estate. All internal slabs have been poured, and 3,979 sqm of roofing and solar panels have been successfully installed. The large-scale artwork is also underway, a collaboration between renowned Sydney muralist Samuel Hall and local Indigenous artists. We are also pleased to announce that we have secured a pre-committed customer on a 10-year lease, demonstrating strong demand for high-quality logistics amenities in the Southwest Sydney market. LOGOS has won the Innovative Developer award at the 2024 ASEAN Property Developers Awards, this award recognises innovative business model and development approaches, unique design, and value creation to the economy and environment. We are pleased to announce the signing of two new tenants, both North Asia-based logistics service providers, at SDPLOG’s Metrohub 2 at E-Metro Logistics Park in Bandar Bukit Raja, Malaysia. The c.800,000 sq. ft. Metrohub 2 was completed and available for occupancy at the end of May 2024. The commitment from the tenants will achieve occupancy of 24% with an option to further expand by 23%. The immediate take-up by tenants within the first month of building availability demonstrates strong demand in this market.
