How Ultimate Balance was born.   Would love to share with you all just how Ultimate Balance was born, with the background to it first of course. When I chose to live life independently and had no choice but to work full time for someone else and to be a slave to labour, chained to an office chair with an computer. I knew starting this business was my exit strategy to work for myself again. Finding myself falling in the trap of long working days sometimes leaving home in the dark and getting home in the dark. Same monotonous routine of cook dinner and go to bed, not getting to spend quality time With the children.   When I started on this journey I named my business Living the dream life as that at the time was what I wanted. Lying on the beach sunbaking with not a worry in the world. Driving nice cars and having the nice house and clothes and shoes. As time went on and I went through my own life’s journey of personal growth and transformation, I made my way through our award winning online courses. I found myself re-inventing myself which was the best thing I ever did. As I felt myself working long hours not only on my job and on my business, I felt myself fall into the same trap. Not spending time with the kids, partner and family again. I started to really learn the true value of life and it also reminded me this is not how I wanted to live life. I wanted to attract mirror me people into my life who had the same values of family and health and happiness in their lives.   This is when I decided to change my business name to Ultimate Balance. I wanted it to resonate with the people I wanted to attract that had the same values of life as me. Balance of family, career, self care, travel and no sense of time. This is where my catch phrase came in months after- “Living life on my terms”. Only working a few hours a day around my own schedule , when I feel like it even while travel around the world, which is what ticks one of my boxes. Truly living life to the fullest while being happy and content at the same time, going with the ebb and flow of this thing we call life. Journey of Self-Growth! Today, I'm taking a moment to reflect on the beautiful process of working on myself, for myself. Life's journey is all about growth, and I've come to realize that dedicating time and energy to self-improvement is the most empowering gift I can give myself. It's not about striving for perfection, but rather about embracing progress. Each day, I'm learning, evolving, and becoming a better version of myself. It's a journey filled with small victories, moments of self-discovery, and a whole lot of self-love. I've learned that self-care isn't just bubble baths and face masks (although those are amazing too!). It's about setting healthy boundaries, practicing mindfulness, nurturing my passions, and challenging my limits. Every step I take towards my goals, no matter how small, is a step towards creating the life I envision. So here's to late-night journaling sessions, to pushing past fears, and to celebrating the unique individual that I am. Here's to investing in my well-being, not just for the present, but for my future self as well. Remember, it's okay to be a work in progress. In fact, it's more than okay—it's truly beautiful. REINVENTING YOURSELF Growth is the heart of re-invention and we won’t fulfill our fullest potential without it. Is it time to re-invent yourself? Make a bucket list, try something you’ve always put off, join or start a new initiative, recognize resistance or explore a career change. This requires building resilience to get through the tough times. Important to engage in self-care to maintain a positive outlook and keep your mind and body healthy. A great indication that you are on the right track and that your goals and dreams are worth pursuing than to encounter resistance. To push through resistance, you need to challenge your fears and doubts, focus on your ambitions and do the work. Find new ways of thinking or doing things which will help you to reach your full potential. Start a sport , join a running club, take the children hiking or start a hobby. Fears and self-doubt may arise when you encounter difficulties and setbacks. Sometimes, they may also come when you’re taking risks. Tap into your courage and try doing at least one new thing each week to develop it. Once you start to respect yourself and put yourself first you attract that into your life in all aspects. If you really want something, you will strive towards achieving it until you succeed. You drive and passion becomes an addiction that nothing can stop you. One day you will wake up and just be ready. You have to want it so bad that you don’t let anyone get into your head as it will just prolong the process. It’s a matter of finally waking up to the fact that the same old habits aren’t working for you anymore and things have to change before something gives. You will find it’s a mixture of things that are the secret sauce to re-invention. Self-respect, trusting own gut feelings, positive mindset, reprogramming, changing where you go and who you hang around, how to present yourself, set boundaries, putting yourself first. You will start to build new identities and be true to your authentic self as you move through this process — that is the essence of reinvention. Acknowledge where you are now, compared to where you want to go. This is the starting point for your transformation. Resources that helped me along the way was listening to Personal Development podcasts and manifesting and visualising. The business isn’t all about the money it’s about enjoying the journey of transformation, personal growth, the ultimate reward from helping and seeing others go through the same journey. Once you accomplished your re-invention you know how well you have gone by the comments you receive from family, friends and even strangers. You will find people looking at you but it’s in a good way. They can feel your high vibration, glowing aura and contagious energy. Loving my Ultimate Balance of work and life , living life on my terms. I find being in balance gives me a sense of calm and ease to the mind. I am very grateful for where I have come and where I am now but especially exciting with what’s installed for the future. When you lose direction remember to go back to your goals and dreams to refocus. Having goals and dreams written down or on a vision board is a great reminder. I am truly grateful of my own unique journey and who I have become and who I have meet along the way. Keeping in tune with self development has been a savour for me. That’s what I love about my rewarding business as well, not only has it helped me re-invent myself but I am enjoying watching other likeminded wonderful people around me growth as well. I have meet so many likeminded mirror mes on my zoom meetings of late and have really enjoyed listening to their journey and goals as well.
