We were pleased to be able to welcome TasWater to our Annual Conference earlier this week. There was a real buzz in the room as councils learnt about the capabilities in their region for water and sewerage. Then sharing their knowledge and plans with TasWater about their communities, businesses and industries. Councils look forward to the next stages of TasWater's engagement! Photos below 👇
All of Tasmania’s local councils coming together this week at the Local Government Association of Tasmania’s 2024 conference provided the perfect opportunity to hear first-hand what is important to local government statewide, by region, and as individual councils. Our team was invited by LGAT to talk about some of the strategies we have in place to plan for the state’s future water and sewer needs, and how we will deliver for customers, the business community, and the environment. We also wanted to hear directly from delegates about what was important to them so we can factor their insights into our planning. Thanks to LGAT for the invitation and all those that attended and participated in the discussions. Working in partnership with councils is a big part of how we will provide exceptional water and sewerage services for a thriving Tasmania.
