With NAIDOC Week starting over the weekend, we came together on Friday to learn about its origins and the importance of storytelling in Indigenous Australian culture. This year's theme is ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud’ and honours the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations communities. The team gathered on Gadigal land to create group paintings using Indigenous symbols to share their stories and reflect on LEVO’s values. This opportunity allowed them to learn about each other's journeys inside and outside the workplace. At present, we're pleased to facilitate a scholarship at University of Technology Sydney to support one student per year from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent who has interests in pursuing a career in the technology sector.
