How is this for a transformation? 40-year-old 450mm Cast Iron Eureka Gate Valve in for a significant restoration and upgrade. Cleaned, new seats, gearbox and of course a new coat of epoxy. Some final touch up and it will be ready for decades of further service. Here is an exploded view of the next dam level needle valve for reconditioning. Built 60 years ago this valve will be as good as new when complete. The components will be cleaned, machined, new parts manufactured, tested and new epoxy coating applied. Watch this space for updates.

We produce a lot of larger parallel slide valves but these are a little difference. These DN20 high pressure (19,035 KPa @ 178°C) were 100% manufactured here in Ballarat. Our highly skilled team have decades of manufacturing experience to build valves with absolute precision.

Our Ballarat workshop team have been busy producing a number of different sized valve discs. High pressure valves, like our Y-Type Plug Valves, are welded into the infrastructure. Our team can make perfect replicas of the originals like these 32mm and 80mm Stellite trimmed discs. Reconditioning valves provides an opportunity to improve upon the product. For example, these 20 year old 600mm tilting check valves. The original hinge mounts have been corroded over decades of use (left). When machined, a new bronze sleeve is inserted (right) ensure a perfect fit with the new bush.
