Is delivering better insights to the business through improved data and analytical capabilities a top priority for your team? Odds are it is for most of your peers and competitors. The Infosys Portland #procurement annual survey results suggest that most organisations are busy addressing the symptoms, but perhaps not equipped to address the cause. To improve your #data and #analytics, we need to understand why your data and analytics are not providing you with meaningful insights instead of moving straight to technology solutions that will produce moderately effective outcomes. Our focus is understanding what sort of #technology solution will unlock the data analytics and insights that are specific to your business.

Despite spending millions on #procurement technology, the Infosys Portland procurement annual survey found, the best that most surveyed organisations get in return is “moderately effective” outcomes. What are we doing wrong? If you feel your organisation’s procurement technology has room for improvement, you’re not alone. Few organisational leaders believe their procurement technology investments are highly effective. It is not surprising that we are having a lot of these conversations across the globe with clients and are having more discussions about what the future of procurement will look like with the implementation of highly effective technology solutions.

Last week’s Procurement Leaders | A World 50 Group Community event in Dubai was a resounding success. Infosys Portland Director Nicholas Marriott and Senior Consultant Chloe Richards facilitated roundtable discussions with key #procurement leaders on the topic of digital procurement and its role in driving business value. The key insights from the region in this area are, companies recognize that more can be done with leveraging legacy procurement systems, there is a need to move away from operational tasks into value creation using the Infosys Portland NextGen Diamond Ring and how a different approach to engaging with internal stakeholders in providing them with an enhanced Customer Experience (CX) can derive additional benefits. Infosys Portland looks forward to unlocking more value for procurement functions across the Middle East region.
