The water treatment plant utilises cutting-edge Cerafiltec Ceramic Membrane technology, with a key focus on effectively reducing measurable levels of microplastics originating from laundry operations within healthcare facilities. Our compact, scalable and fully-automated pilot skid is currently live at Parammatta Linen Service, ready for real-world testing. Last week the Infinite Water team were onsite to handover a refurbished water treatment plant to Waipuna Marae. The original system, installed 15 years ago had been plagued by problems and largely out of service meaning that the hapu of Panguru and Motuti have been without ready access to a source of clean drinking water. Infinite Water was privileged to work closely with the Waipuna Marae Trust to understand the community’s needs. Hydroxon™ was an obvious choice to replace the original Ion Exchange process as it is a much simpler solution for metals removal and provides additional disinfection. Automation, quality components and tailored training and operational documents were also provided to maximise ease of use for the local operators.
