Coles team members were out in force last week to support the launch of Mum’s Jam, a new product developed by Coles to help raise funds for Hospitals United For Sick Kids. Store managers, product developers, category managers and team members from Corporate & Indigenous Affairs attended a special morning tea at Monash Children’s Hospital, one of eight alliance partners who will benefit from funds raised through the sales of Mum’s Jam. The new Mum’s Jam, available in raspberry and strawberry flavours, is an extension of the “Mum’s” brand, building on the successful fundraising efforts of the Mum’s Sause pizza and pasta sauces which have raised more than $3 million for Hospitals United for Sick Kids since 2019. Fifty cents from every Mum’s Jam product sold will be donated to Hospitals United for Sick Kids to help support projects and initiatives from The Common Good, Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF), John Hunter Children’s Hospital (Hunter New England Local Health District), Perth Children's Hospital Foundation, Canberra Hospital Foundation, Monash Children’s Hospital (Monash Health), Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation and The Royal Hobart Hospital. Coles GM Grocery Leanne White said “Coles is extremely excited to launch our new Mum’s Jam range for customers to enjoy and importantly, feel good knowing their purchase will go towards raising much-needed funds for supporting sick kids in a time of need.” #ProudlyColes / Sally Fielke

We are excited to announce the launch of the newest products to join our “Mum’s” range at Coles Group; the new Mum’s Jam, available in raspberry and strawberry, is an extension of the highly successful and life changing product range available exclusively at Coles supermarkets. The two new products, made in Australia with fruit sourced from Aussie farms and with no artificial colours or flavours, are on sale now at all Coles supermarkets for $4.00, with 50 cents from each jar sold donated to Hospitals United For Sick Kids. Coles General Manager Grocery Leanne White said Mum’s Jam was created to not only provide a tasty option for customers but also with fundraising in mind. “Coles is extremely excited to launch our new Mum’s Jam range for customers to enjoy and importantly, feel good knowing their purchase will go towards raising much-needed funds for supporting sick kids in a time of need,” she said. “Mum's Jam provides customers with an Australian made range and with a short ingredient list, it’s made to taste just like mum would make. We’ve seen how much the Mum’s Sause range has resonated with our customers with its value, taste and alignment to a worthy cause and we are excited to help raise further funds for Hospitals United For Sick Kids with Mum’s Jam, plus offer a quick, easy and delicious staple spread for families." Our CEO Nicky Bowie said funds raised from the new Mum’s Jam will benefit its alliance of hospitals, foundations and paediatric services greatly. “Hospitals United for Sick Kids is incredibly grateful for the support of Coles Group and its customers who have been championing our cause over the past five years. By choosing to buy a Mum’s Sause product, they have helped fund pediatric projects and treatments in every state and territory of Australia,” she said. “We’re very excited about the Mum’s range expanding into the spreads aisle to help give shoppers more opportunities to help sick kids get home to the things they miss. Every jar of Mum’s Jam sold helps make a difference—whether it's funding life-saving emergency equipment for kids or bringing medical care home thereby reducing the stress, cost, and disruption of hospital visits on sick kids and their families.” Funds raised will be distributed to our alliance partner in the state or territory where the product is purchased to help children in hospitals get home to the things they miss - like waking up to the sweet smell of jam on toast for brekky. #coles #newproduct #new #launch #hospitalsunitedforsickkids #teamsickkids #alliancepartner #corporatepartner #partnership #impact Sally Fielke Gabrielle Sheehan HNEkidshealth The Common Good Monash Health Perth Children's Hospital Foundation Canberra Hospital Foundation Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation Department of Health, Tasmania Toowoomba Hospital Foundation Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) Mackay Hospital Foundation

We were delighted when Lowes Manhattan Pty Ltd, an iconic Australian retailer chose to partner with us for their annual bucket hat campaign, and we are honoured to do it all again. Last time we linked up with Lowes Manhattan Pty Ltd, we raised over $266,000 together to support sick kids across Australia, and this year we are hoping to exceed our previous figure. These bucket hats can be life-saving. This is because, the $10 donation from every bucket hat allows us to fund even more projects, research and equipment through our eight state based alliance partners; helping get more sick kids to get home to the things they miss, like fun in the sun!
