About us

Our goal is to support both our Virtual Assistants (VA’s) and the business owner in a mutually beneficial longterm business relationship. Unlike other companies, we ensure everyone’s needs are looked after for the entire duration of your work together. We do this via thorough screening, managing task expectations, offering communication training for all VA’s, and regular contact points for the business owner. Our primary concern is that we make the right match and that both you and your VA benefit from and feel supported in the experience.

Let's hear it for our Virtual Assistant spotlight for January 2024, none other than Florence! Florence, a VA since 2020, has skillfully shuffled between Social Media Management and administrative tasks. Late in 2023, she rekindled her passion for content creation - designing social media graphics, videos, crafting online resources, and so the list goes on! Her time at GT has been rewarding both professionally and personally for her (and she’s been a great asset to GT). Here are her “golden rules” to achieve success as a VA: - Utilize Google efficiently. - Be assertive. - Perform every task with love. We tip our hats to Florence, our inspirational VA of the month!

Aside from her unique name, February has a long list of varied experiences. For starters, she worked as an HR and recruiter for more than 5 years, and she was great at it. She then shifted to becoming a virtual assistant in 2020. This is where she made an impact and showed off how much of a legend she is. She handled her client’s business operations, managed his calendar, and some lead generation as well. Febby’s client trusted her so much that she even handled the business when her client was away for conferences and vacations. To put it in words, February was her client’s “Virtual Double”. She is perfect for roles that require a lot of initiative, admin roles, or executive assistant roles. Or… if you are looking for a virtual assistant that can free up some of your time so that you can go on a HOLIDAY. Hire your amazing VA Superstar today 👉 globalteams.com.au/contact

I quite like the 80/20 rule (the idea that 80% of the output can be achieved by 20% of the input). And although it is not exact (sometimes the ratio might be different), I do think it is a helpful concept in many scenarios. One place I like to apply it is when I am supporting a business owner to identify how to delegate to a Virtual Assistant. If you delegate everything at once you are likely to overwhelm them (and not get the results you are after). But if you are strategic and identify that 20% that gets you 80% of those sweet sweet outcomes, you can avoid overwhelm and get 80% of what you are after in a short period of time. Let me give you an example. Say you have an e-commerce business and you have engaged a Virtual Assistant to support you with the continuous stream of customer queries. Start by identifying the handful of questions that make up the 80% of that volume. Perhaps you always get asked when their package is being delivered or if your dog treats are vegan… Whatever it is…train your Virtual Assistant to answer these questions first. That way, within a day or two of them starting, they are able to answer a handful of question types BUT they are getting through about 80% of the volume (making you feel freer). You can work on getting them up to speed in answering the weird and wonderful infrequent questions over time. If you are strategic with delegation, you can get support with a large proportion (of the total) in a short amount of time. Leaving you to ponder what you are going to do with all your free time.
