Our work for MNG has resulted in a space that can support their requirements today and well into the future, as needs evolve. This impactful environment balances function and form, going beyond simply providing for work to enhancing and promoting it through distinctly tangible structures within a carefully considered layout. We’ve celebrated the technological aspects of the business such as the front-and-centre glass-walled server room, and enabled collaboration for staff and clients through highly flexible spaces that invite connection. The outcome truly reflects MNG’s background and business operations, integrating functional structure and visual form to provide a dynamic, impactful and appealing workspace. Geyer recently held an informal evening event for clients, to showcase its brand new Brisbane office and to outline one of our latest projects for a global client. Kate Tuffley , Brisbane General Manager and MC for the evening, introduced some of our senior leadership team, including Adam Mundy , Global Design Director, Leigh Devine , Strategic Accounts Director and Marcel Zalloua , CEO, who took the opportunity to highlight the fundamental importance that sustainability and technology play within any business, and how we deliver greater efficiencies by integrating them into every design. Marcel also touched on the immersion cooling technology being deployed by ResetData , outlining how this innovative hardware is bringing the operation of data centres back into the very buildings the data is created in, and embed much greater sustainability as a longterm, permanent change. Check out our new Brisbane space and hear more from the team in the video! #geyer #geyerdesign #workplacedesign #workplacestrategy #sustainability #technology #innovation #workplace #designled

A global energy company asked us to explore how we could create a workplace environment that seamlessly integrated an overarching global business strategy with the specific needs and characteristics of local operations. Our approach had to provide for future growth without adding further physical space - even finding ways to reduce it where possible. The outcomes from our discovery sessions and gap analysis set the direction for visualising a workspace that encourages attendance, promotes flexibility and supports the holistic organisational shift. The result is a workspace that supports triple the daily occupancy within a third of the size of the previous office, proving that well-considered design leads to more efficient and effective use of space. The transformation exemplifies our expertise at the intersection of design, technology, sustainability and business strategy. By leveraging these disciplines, we delivered a workplace that not only meets today's needs but is also poised for future growth and change. This particular project will be remembered for its strategic foresight, innovative approach to workplace design and the measurable benefits it delivers. Our latest work for McCullough Robertson has reimagined their workplace to be an environment that invites interaction and engagement, integrates technology and provides the necessary flexibility for a growing workforce. We’ve drawn on discovery workshops and strategic analysis to inform the design direction and bring together a warm palette across fabrics, timbers and lighting, a range of working and collaboration spaces, and adaptive fittings. Operable walls and large pivot doors enable spaces to transition quickly, while interconnecting stairs ensure easy access throughout the space. This is all underpinned with a central consideration to long-term sustainability, and we’ve reused existing elements wherever possible. This progressive space is truly tailored for a team dedicated to shaping the future of legal solutions. Imagining a contemporary workplace that offers effective integration of function and form, adapts to staff needs as they evolve AND will cater for continued growth is no easy task. This is exactly the challenge we relish, and the outcome of our work for Kuehne Nagel amply demonstrates how we apply considered thinking and practicality to resolve a problem. By providing for rest, connection and various working styles, we've realised a modern, thriving workplace - one that combines movement, calm, connectivity and focus, while offering great flexibility and a strong sense of community. Extensive use of sustainable materials and lighting ensures we maintain our firm commitment to a positive future. Last week, we hosted an Emerging Leaders Retreat where designers from our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth offices came together for three days of simulation-based learning. This immersive experience reflects our commitment to two core values: 'be curious' and 'work together', each being tested through a series of challenging exercises designed to push the boundaries of creativity. Our emerging leaders grappled with intriguing design questions and honed their ability to lead their teams to innovative solutions, practicing new skills and even embracing failure along the way. This is much more than just a gesture of appreciation: the Emerging Leaders Program is about giving back, fostering the growth of talented people, building their skills, cultivating leadership qualities and setting them up as role models within our organisation. The retreat's culmination was a Harbour Bridge climb, chosen to symbolise the challenge of rising above the everyday hustle and developing the skills to become inspiring leaders who set and achieve a powerful vision. Our leadership team of Marcel Zalloua, Leigh Devine and Jonathan Cawte, commend all our emerging leaders for their enthusiasm in tackling every challenge. We're excited to witness the progress of Anna Okwell, Matthew Crossley, James Luu, Anne Cerezo and Amy O’Reagan, and we look forward to supporting your leadership development. #EmergingLeaders #Teamwork #Innovation #Geyer #Leadership #Mentoring #TomorrowToday #Design

IMAGINING A VERTICALLY CONNECTED CAMPUS Urban workplaces that span multiple office building floors often have an inherent challenge in connecting people and spaces. A study by MIT professor Thomas Allen highlighted the correlation between physical proximity and communication frequency. If your colleague is more than 50 metres away, it's almost like they're in a different building altogether. In this design, we have enabled the stairs to serve as fluid connection between diverse spaces and functions. From active workplace floors to a tranquil interior garden oasis, a bustling dining hall, client meeting centres, and a rooftop garden terrace, we've created a cohesive experience throughout the floors. #designled #geyer #workplace #connectivity #strategy #verticalspaces
