Truly thrilled and honoured to be awarded as the #toppostgraduatestudent in #Marketing during the Monash Business School 2024 Dean's Student Excellence #awardsnight. Special thanks to Forethought represented by Diane Shelton for the humbling award. Studying full-time, working a corporate part-time job, commuting for 3-4 hours to work, and managing to have a social life was not an easy feat to juggle. In retrospect, there are a few things that helped me get through it: 🏆 Start the day right - This helped me #staygrounded and sane despite how crazy the day can go. Whether its #meditation, #exercise, or #devotional (in my case) - find out what will set the day for you. 🏆 Make it work for you - Try and #makethemost out of what you have and of the circumstance. I remember having to finish #assessments during my commute just to make it to the #deadline. 🏆 #Lessons are part of the #learning, but so is the #journey - Studies and papers read can get outdated but the skills developed in the #process can be timeless. I definitely got to know myself better and my #workingstyle through team dynamics. Find something to take away from the process itself - may it be the way professors teach or the way different people interact under pressure. Special thanks to my professors Dominic, Luke, Peter, Jasmina, Tej, and David. 🙌🏼 Thank you to my mentors Rodney and Dennis. Of course, would have not done it without supportive classmates who've always got my back - Savira and Parul. 🤍
