  • Fitzpatrick & Co Advisory is delighted to be the media partner for this week's 10th Australia-ASEAN Business Forum in Sydney which is bringing together as many as 500 government and business delegates to celebrate our shared economic prosperity. Our annual $180 bn trade with the world's fifth largest economy is far more than that with Japan, the United States or the EU. There are more opportunities than ever for businesses, innovators and investors to grow with the region's prosperity with ASEAN governments working more closely than ever to drive growth. Congrats to Organising Chairman Francis Wong, OAM OSJ, Vice-Chair Kadie Dinh and team for marking 50 years of the Australia-ASEAN relationship with such a major event. Managing Director Eamonn Fitzpatrick joined fellow "Working in ASEAN markets" panellists Philip Low, Leigh Howard, Christine Wilson and chair Mukund Narayanamurti of Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) to share the essentials for investing in the region. #trade #ASEAN #Australia #investment

An honour to meet with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet in Phnom Penh today to discuss the kingdom’s remarkable economic transformation and the opportunities ahead. Becoming a high-income economy in 25 years comes with challenges. But the energy and ambition I’ve seen in recent days shows how Cambodia is defining its own place in the Mekong delta, in ASEAN and the world. And foreign investors are taking notice of huge tax-free concessions, ownership rules, regulatory reform and stable government, as well as a 2050 net zero commitment. The kingdom is fast becoming ASEAN’s rising star with a compelling story to tell about becoming a globally competitive investment destination. Watch this space. #ASEAN #Cambodia #FDI #investment #sustainablegrowth #governmentrelations Fitzpatrick & Co Advisory Bruce Hawker Julie Delvecchio JJ C.

Cambodia’s growth story can no longer be ignored - rapid development and reform means it is ASEAN’s rising star for anyone investing in the region. It was an honour to spend time with the kingdom’s senior economic ministers in Phnom Penh today discussing sustainable growth underpinned by its net zero target, tax incentives and ownership reform for foreign investors. Thank you, Senior Minister for Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs H.E Dr Sok Siphana, Secretary of State and advisor to the Prime Minister H.E Eat Sophea, Secretary of State H.E Khiev Sophany and Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board H.E. Nut Unvoanra for your insights and Cambodia’s ambassador to Australia, H.E. Dr. Cheunboran Chanborey for hosting. It’s already a huge privilege to work with our pro bono clients UNICEF Australia and today in Jakarta it was fantastic to meet more members of the dedicated UNICEF family. Thank you to UNICEF’s Indonesia representative, Maniza Zaman, for making the time to talk progress, expertise, connection and priorities as the nation leverages a decade of economic reform to ensure no citizen - and especially no child - is left behind. Inspiring on so many levels. Tony Stuart Amy Goska Alice Hall Julie Delvecchio Fitzpatrick & Co Advisory

Today's signing of the 8th Community Pharmacy Agreement means all Australians will continue to receive cheaper medicines and world class care from their local pharmacies. It's a $3bn boost and $26.5bn over five years for better healthcare and cost of living relief - a significant achievement delivered by the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Health Minister Mark Butler working with The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, led by President Trent Twomey and The Guild's National Council. It's a genuine privilege for all of us Fitzpatrick & Co Advisory to have contributed to that outcome through our work with The Guild.

An honour for Managing Director Eamonn Fitzpatrick to meet today with the Philippine Ambassador to Australia, Her Excellency Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, and discuss the strengthening ties between our nations and the many opportunities for investors and innovators. The strategic partnership signed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and President Marcos in recent months has never been more important to the stability of our region, underpinned by ever-growing bilateral and pan-ASEAN trade and investment. • "We have unlimited potential. But we do not have unlimited time...If we don’t act to shape the future, the future will shape us." PM Anthony Albanese's "A Future Made in Australia" released today lays down a blueprint for a nation ready to lead in renewable energy. His call to action is to do more than harness renewable energy or our critical mineral deposits; it's to re-imagine Australia's place in the world, bringing together economic growth and environmental stewardship to go hand in hand with stability and prosperity. • Never one to shy away from the difficult issues, Greg Combet AM today laid out the plan to tackle the biggest economic change we’ll face as a nation this century. As Chair of Australia’s Net Zero Economy Agency, he talked through next steps at his National Press Club address today. Inclusion, innovation, opportunity and the undeniable fact our biggest coal customers are going net zero. Like most developed economies. Greg’s message is clear: let’s get out in front so we are not left behind. Transition will never be easy. The economy needs leaders who talk straight and take real action so everyone benefits and nobody is left behind. Investor, climate minister, public servant, problem solver. We’ve known Greg for more than a decade, from when he was climate minister in the Gillard Govt and as union members in the movement he led as ACTU secretary. At its core, transition is about how we work , how we live and thrive. Delivering fairness through it all is critical. His appointment to the NZEA and now as incoming chair of the Future Fund will be a huge part of that. See what he had to say: https://lnkd.in/gqTvbeEd
