The July FightMND Scientific Seminar is just around the corner. Join us on Tuesday 23 July at 12pm AEST as we welcome 2023 West Australian of the Year, Professor Samar Aoun. Professor Aoun, Head of Palliative Care at the Perron Institute, is an international leader in the promotion and advocacy of public health approaches to palliative care, and will discuss with us her work to develop models for end-of-life care for patients living with MND. FightMND is proud to support MND Australia and the launch of the National MND lived experience network. The Network is a new way to connect people with lived experience of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) with organisations and other groups looking for lived experience input or consultation on MND topics including care, advocacy, information development, or research. They are looking for people to join the Network, including people: ▪️ with a confirmed diagnosis of MND ▪️ carrying an MND genetic mutation, but not diagnosed with MND ▪️ currently caring for a family member with MND ▪️ who previously cared for a family member with MND.
