Once science fiction, computers that can see and think for us are becoming a reality. And if you’re a producer in Queensland’s northern beef industry, the thought of some strategically placed robots that can detect your cattle, assess their condition, and alert you to any issues – without the need to muster a 20,000-acre paddock – must sound like a dream 🙌 An exciting collaboration between Queensland’s Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and agricultural AI specialist, InFarm, could bring that dream to life. Funded through the Queensland Government’s Digital Transformation in Agribusiness Initiative, they’ve delivered a prototype autonomous camera system that leverages machine vision and artificial intelligence to identify and monitor cows in even the most remote locations. And it’s not overstating it to say this solution could transform Queensland’s extensive beef industry 👉 https://bit.ly/3y8Oqgg
