A few weeks ago, our Health and Safety team hosted an exciting competition at our Danish headquarters under the theme "Play Health and Safety with Us!" The event featured a series of fun, interactive board games developed by our talented colleagues from Poland, who visited us to share their knowledge and assist in launching the activities. The games were designed to enhance our safety practices and promote a culture of awareness, providing employees with a fresh, engaging way to refresh their knowledge of key health and safety topics. They have proven to be an effective tool for sparking meaningful discussions about workplace safety, strengthening our understanding of safety protocols, and identifying areas for improvement. This collaboration with our Polish colleagues, ficilitated by Emilia Szalewicz, is a great example of how we can make health and safety training both effective and enjoyable. We are excited to welcome Janus Meinert as our new R&D Engineer. Janus is just a defense away from completing his PhD at Aalborg University, where he focused on The Impact of Layout Parasitics on Wide Bandgap Based Power Converters. He brings a strong passion for simulation tools and the use of digital methods to improve converter designs and passive components. As a hardware engineer, Janus is particularly focused on using simulations and modeling to optimize processes and save valuable lab time. He will be contributing to our R&D hardware team and is already involved in ongoing projects. Janus shared, "I knew several of the engineers at Eltwin before starting, and they all spoke highly of the work-life balance and teamwork. I must say, it has lived up to my expectations." Outside of work, he enjoys family life, swimming and, most recently, making pizza!
