BEHIND THE SCENCES: 1 MARKET AT NIGHT The grand scale of the new lobby at 1 Market is more striking than ever against the Sydney night sky. Large slabs of travertine soar towards the glowing timber feature ceiling, lifted and secured in place by specialist machinery. Having opened in August, you won’t be able to miss the large digital screen and glowing light boxes as you walk towards Darling harbour at night. We are thankful to have partnered with Investa on this exciting revitalisation project and thrilled to have already heard of the positive experiences of tenants as they enjoy this new space. BEHIND THE SCENES AT 1 MARKET We are thankful to have partnered with Investa to revitalise the lobby of this prominent Sydney tower with over 40 years of history at Davenport Campbell. Having re-opened in August, we wanted to share some behind the scenes photos that celebrate the great work of the project team in working with the history and scale of the building. Blending existing carrara marble with soft tones of travertine, warm timbers and trailing planting, the new lobby features an intricate ceiling of timber light boxes that bring warmth and openness to the arrival experience. CELEBRATING THE OPENING OF 1 MARKET! We are excited to share the incredible transformation of 1 Market Street, Sydney. We have loved working with our client Investa to create a lively and inviting arrival experience for their tenants and visitors. The new lobby honours the character of the building façade and its timeless marble interior while bringing new warmth and activity with leafy seating areas, intuitive wayfinding and a stunning new café. In the coming week we’ll be sharing some behind the scenes photos of our design work coming to life with the help of a great project team. Congratulations to our talented documenters for bringing their technical flair to a workplace project in Melbourne's CBD. The project includes spec suites, base building amenities and lift lobby upgrades, and we're proud to see their details bringing this design vision to life. Well done to the project team!

We are proud to have used bamboo effectively in this workplace project to reduce environmental impact. A striking reception counter was designed to be assembled without the need for adhesives or metal fixings, and bamboo partitions were locally manufactured in NSW. With product lifecycle as a key driver, each of these elements were designed to be reused or recycled at the end of their project life. We were pleased to support our client to test a number of locations over a six month process to arrive at a site that would support their new ways of working. The result is a thriving treetop workplace that promotes an authentic connection with the company’s values and purpose, drawing employees back to a physical workplace with spaces to support social engagement, togetherness, flexibility and hybrid ways of working.
