Situated in Derrimut, Victoria the new warehouse is strategically positioned to efficiently service the Victorian and Tasmanian markets. CSR is proud to have officially commenced the rehabilitation works at our Badgerys Creek property with a Welcome to Country by Uncle Troy Davis from the Gandangara Local Aboriginal Land Council. The property was established in the early 1970s as a brickworks and quarrying site, and CSR, alongside the first nation community, is now preparing the site for use as a future employment area. This will support the growth and economy of the area surrounding Western Sydney Airport. As we progress towards the rehabilitation of the land, we will work with the broader community of Western Sydney, along with local, state, and federal authorities. 📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 SECURE GAS SUPPLY TO SUPPORT LOCAL MANUFACTURING OF BUILDING PRODUCTS 🏭🏗🏭 Senex Energy & CSR Limited have entered into an agreement to supply secure and reliable natural gas from Senex's Atlas expansion to be used in CSR’s manufacturing facilities on Australia’s east coast for the next decade. Senex will supply up to 17 petajoules (PJ) of natural gas from January 2025 to CSR's manufacturing plants that make well-known building products like Gyprock™ plasterboard, Bradford™ insulation and PGH™ bricks. Against a backdrop of rising costs and pricing pressures in the construction industry, this deal is an important one for providing energy certainty to a leading building products company. Senex CEO Ian Davies said having gas for the manufacturing industry is absolutely paramount, and the only way that’s going to stay reliable is for there to be more investment, not less.
