Interesting article on the back the Australian Banking Association claiming only .3 % of consumers are using the Open Banking Program. This is different to what Basiq is seeing in connecting consumers and growing at 6% per month. Fintech Australia think the survey did not account for data that had been accessed for a single use, such as lending approvals There is always going to be some initial flaws but longer term it should "improve competition, driving down prices and enhancing financial decision-making".
