CIP Constructions is pleased to share that we have partnered with YarnnUp to develop our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our team will undergo cultural awareness training, community engagement and educational initiatives, all designed to create meaningful change and promote a deeper understanding of the rich cultures and histories of First Nations peoples. This significant step marks our commitment to fostering stronger relationships, respect, and opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Listening and working together, we aim to build a more inclusive and equitable future for all. Our CEO Mark Hendry says ‘I am proud to take CIP Constructions on this journey of reconciliation. Since moving from Scotland in the 80s I have been proud to call Australia home, to have lived and worked alongside many different cultures and been fortunate enough to experience the beauty of this country. It's the small details that show the quality in construction. Yesterday I visited the CIP Storage King site at Darlington where we are supplying and installing the structural steel. In 30 years of being around construction sites I have never encountered cleaner site toilets. It is these things that add to the comfort of all who work on site. Lots happening on site as our Adelaide team hosted a site tour and walkthrough for the wider Haigh's Chocolates Team. It was a great opportunity for our CIP team to share stories and really learn from the Haigh’s team, learning about the different sections and infrastructure of the factory as well as where the attendees would work once the build is completed. The attendees were shown through all areas, including production where they could see the scale of all 8 chocolate tanks, the fulfilment and corporate packaging area and the warehouse. Senior Project Manager Will van den Berg states “It was great to share the progress with the wider Haigh’s team and we really enjoyed having them on site to tell their stories and the Haigh’s history. CIP Constructions are thrilled to share that our very own Project Manager William Huang has been shortlisted as a finalist for The Urban Developer Urban Leader Awards. Recently our CIP Constructions Sydney team visited Western Precast NSW’s factory to learn about their precast panels and how they are leveraging technology and embracing automation.   The team were treated to a full tour of the facility, including the Reinforcement Cage Welding and Mould Building, as well as watching screed leveling process and the curing process Brendan Whelan Senior Project Engineer states “It was great to get out and visit Western Precast and do something different! Most of our work with suppliers happens on site and in the office, so to get to see a behind the scenes look was great and very interesting.”   The team were pleasantly surprised and very impressed with how Western Precast decided to incorporate automation and technology into their modern facility.   Thank you to the whole Western Precast team and especially Kristian for his time on site. #CIPConstructions #teamwork

CIP Constructions are proud to share that we were recently awarded The Constructive Culture Award by Human Synergistics, recognizing our commitment to great culture. The award, recently presented at the annual HS conference in Sydney recognizes organisations that have a Constructive Culture on their first measure using the Organisational Culture Inventory (OCI).   The OCI is a metric developed to measure how “constructive” a business is, characterized by high levels of satisfaction, security and trust within employees. We are pleased to share that despite it only being our first test, CIP Constructions had high levels of Achievement, Humanistic and Affiliative behaviors, suggesting that our winning project streaks and commitment to people are leading to an overall more aligned and happy workforce.   The work doesn’t stop here though, as our People & Culture team will continue to facilitate retesting and check ins, as well as continuing to develop initiatives and procedures for the betterment of all our staff. #CIPConstructions #culture #award

Continuing our monthly cadence of site-wide BBQs ♨🌭 This time, we’re at our Willawong project with our client CIP Constructions, where we’ve already completed the footings and office slabs. Now, we're powering through the internal slabs for the first of two massive warehouses, spanning over 44,000m2 combined under roof. And with 20,000m2 of external works on the horizon, there’s plenty more to come. Alliance have been working on the Daikin Sydney Expansion project in Chipping Norton since May 2022. Beginning with a preliminary site investigation we have worked closely with CIP Constructions in gaining approvals and undertaking extensive investigations and reporting, with all reports reviewed by a NSW EPA accredited site auditor.   Currently we are undertaking full-time monitoring of works on the site.   #geotechnical #engineering #environment #contamination #remediation #hazmat

Our CIP Constructions South Australia team making major progress in Darlington with the installation of 14m tall precast panels. These panels will form the structure of a new Storage King facility and accommodate the installation of the lift shaft. The back of the building will be completed with light weight cladding as value management. Once precast and structural steel are complete, the roof will be installed and weather proofing will be complete, ready for internal works. #CIPConstructions
