CDERP was founded as an independent centre to focus on research to develop, improve and ensure that disability employment practice was built on an evidence base that supported true client choice and control. Services we offer: Independent Research As non-aligned researchers, we provide unbiased research that meets peer-review standards. We also carry out research and advocacy on our own merit into issues that need research and support to improve client outcomes. Research and Policy Development. We can assist with the development of evidence-based practices and policy development that reflects your organisational goals. Customised Employment Training. We provide training to staff that requires an understanding of how Customised Employment really works. This is an evidence-based program that can lead to open or self-employment for your service clients. Work First - www.workfirst.cderp.com.au Work First is our disability employment and mental health service that supports the development of real practice solutions through the delivery of services to individuals, families, and companies. Real praxis, real-time services delivered with fidelity to the evidence base for ethical practice. It is our virtuous loop; an evidence-based practice that supports practice-based research. CDERP College - www.college.cderp.com.au This is our online training platform that supports organisational staff and individuals to access real evidence-based training that is informed by practice and evidence. Nothing fluffy here, just training that works in the real world developed by researchers working in the real world delivering services to real clients. Our programs are updated regularly with practice methods that evolve based on what we see in practice. Timely, real-world solutions that keep pace with client and community expectations and policy developments.

A journey we started nearly two decades ago.
Did you know that for over a decade, we've been working with service providers to improve disability employment practice where it matters - at the client interface? We leave compliance training to others and focus on person-centred practice that aligns service provision with the needs of participants and employers. Our programs are recognised globally and focused. Importantly, we can tailor training to your needs by drawing on our extensive resource bank. Where necessary, we'll research and develop a program in response to feedback from the field from service providers and our field staff who deliver employment via our highly specialised Customised Employment program. We're not sandstone people who admire problems for a living; we're practitioners and researchers who do the work daily. Even our research staff work with clients in the field, supporting employment outcomes.
