🤔 Q: What's 40 metres long, weighs 105 tonnes and required oversize vehicle transportation to the Hunter Region? 🛣️ A: The precast concrete 'Super T' girders that have formed the new rail viaduct alongside the M1 Motorway. Our M1 Extension Project team reached a major milestone with the nine girders being lifted into place last month - and all completed over the weekend while the rail line was closed for track maintenance. We're building a 2.6km viaduct spanning the Hunter River and surrounding floodplain, the Main North Rail Line and New England Highway. The M1 Pacific Motorway Extension to Raymond Terrace Project will transform the way people move to and from the Hunter Region in NSW and improve travel times for commuters travelling from Sydney to Brisbane. We're proud of our role alongside Gamuda Australia to transform lives for people using our national M1 Motorway. #JohnHollandTransformingLives #ItsAJohnHollandJV

PROJECT UPDATE! QBC’s Oaky Creek Bridge Replacement, on behalf of Aurizon is progressing well with Shutdown Two currently in construction. This project is time critical, with a 24hr, 7 day per week work cycle in progress to undertake the bored pile installation component of the bridge structure. Keep up the great work team.

Nothing like driving home the first pile on a project. Here we are using a Junttan 30SB hammer, which is currently the largest hammer manufactured by Junttan. Driving home a 25mm thick steel casing supplied by ABFI Steel Group.
