Celebrating #NAIDOC Week with an unforgettable experience! On Tuesday, our Camco Karratha team attended the Ngurrangga Tours – Rock Art Tour. Tour host, Clinton Walker shared the incredible history behind the art in Nganjarli (Deep Gorge), highlighting the deep connections and stories embedded in the land. Our team described the experience as truly enriching and culturally educational. NAIDOC celebrations not only acknowledge the past, but also looks forward to a future of unity and mutual respect. It encourages us to deepen our understanding and appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Friday's Farewell BBQ! Friday’s company-wide barbecue had a bittersweet taste, as we reluctantly said farewell to soon-to-be retirees Wayne Childs, Gary Stechman, and Stephen Powell. Next week marks their last days at Camco, and we wanted to send them off with a bang. Wayne will celebrate 13 years with the company, Gary 16 years, and Stephen 10 years. From the bottom of our hearts, Camco thanks all three of these team members for being integral parts of our operation. We can only hope every Camco employee grows and develops with us as well as Wayne, Gary and Stephen have. While we never look back, we will certainly have some big shoes to fill.
