Wine lovers across Australia have rated Brown Brothers as the best Australian wine in Canstar Blue’s 2024 Customer Satisfaction Awards. Canstar Blue is one of Australia’s best-known and respected comparison websites. Surveying more than 3,000 respondents, their recently concluded annual consumer research for the category of 'Australian Wine' asked wine drinkers to rate brands on overall satisfaction. Brown Brothers achieved the top award in the wine category being the only brand to score a five-star rating in all categories, surpassing South Australian winemakers, Jacob’s Creek and Penfolds. Emma Brown, Brown Family Wine Group's Head of Innovation and 4th generation Brown family is thrilled by this incredible acknowledgement from consumers.  “We are so proud to be recognised as Canstar Blue, 2024 Most Satisfied Customers Award for Australian Wine. Yarra Valley winery Innocent Bystander launched its first ever pop-up urban cellar door at Babylon, one of Brisbane’s premier riverside venues. Innocent Bystander at Babylon redefined the traditional tasting experience with innovative and immersive encounters that challenge expectations around wine. "There's more to wine than sniffing, swirling, and sipping. Our aim was to create a shared experience that transcends convention and sparks joy,” says Innocent Bystander Brand Manager Andrew Dix. “We’re thrilled to have brought to life the essence of Innocent Bystander in Brisbane offering locals the opportunity to learn what we’re about first-hand.” During the urban cellar door takeover, Innocent Bystander activated Babylon with vinyl DJs spinning records on weekend afternoons, interactive wine tastings by an Innocent Bystander wine ambassador, and captivating LED dance performances to bring to life the balance between the bright, social world of Innocent Bystander and the sensible, serious traditions of the wine category.   A highlight of the pop-up was the Innocent Bystander x Babylon long lunches featuring a range of signature Babylon dishes paired with a free-flowing selection of Innocent Bystander wines.   Thankyou to Babylon, Mantle Group Hospitality, WEAVE, littleBIG and everyone at Innocent Bystander for helping to bring to life ‘Come play at Babylon,’ the first (of many) Innocent Bystander urban cellar door pop-ups. We understand that sustainability is essential for the longevity of our multi-generational company.   We are proud to announce the certification of our remaining vineyard sites at Milawa, Banksdale, and Mystic Park under the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia scheme (SWA).   “We can confirm that all company vineyards and wineries are now certified sustainable under the Freshcare Australian Wine Industry Standard of Sustainable Practice says Brett McClen, Head of Viticulture and Sustainability at Brown Family Wine Group. “This certification is a significant milestone in our sustainability journey, and we are incredibly proud of it.”   Certification of our Tasmanian vineyards, Heathcote vineyard, and two winemaking sites in Milawa and Launceston was achieved in 2023.   Our sustainability efforts saw Devil’s Corner win the Innovation and Transformation Award at the recent 2024 East Coast Tasmania Tourism (ECCT) Recognition Awards.   The award recognised Devil’s Corner for implementing a water treatment plant utilising dam water for the entire vineyard and cellar door site. Revolutionising its water management practices and eliminating the need for frequent water freight thus ensuring a sustainable water supply for vineyards and site amenities. We are consistently looking at ways to implement sustainability measures in all areas of the company to reduce our impact on the planet and ensure a viable future for wine production.

Brown Brothers has partnered with Coles Liquor to launch a delicious limited-edition Cienna Hot Cross Bun wine just in time for Easter.   To bring this exciting wine to life, Brown Brothers had the privilege of taking over Coles Head Office Hub to share Limited Edition Cienna Hot Cross Bun and Limited Edition Moscato flavours with the Coles team.   Coles employees sampled Brown Brothers Cienna Hot Cross Bun, Brown Brothers Moscato Strawberries & Cream and Brown Brothers Moscato White Choc Raspberry with a perfectly paired ice cream complete with matching toppings of Rum & Raisin, Strawberries & Cream and White Choc Raspberry to complement the wines. The tasting experience finished with a takeaway photo reel in the Brown Brothers photo booth.   Inspired by the iconic hot cross bun, Limited Edition Cienna Hot Cross Bun is a fruity red wine featuring hints of cinnamon and melted brown sugar. With a refreshing light bubble to the finish, the rich red wine pairs perfectly with a warm, buttery hot cross bun.   “Huge thank you to all Coles employees for taking the time to taste Brown Brothers Limited Edition wines.” Said Tarynn Barrie, Brown Brothers Senior Brand Manager.   “We’re really excited to introduce limited-edition Cienna Hot Cross Bun to our range this Easter. Our goal was to enhance the Easter experience by offering this unique twist to the traditional celebrations. We know our consumers are driven by taste, and this wine won’t disappoint. It’s bursting with all the flavours we love about hot cross buns, like cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg, which we think will strike a chord with wine lovers looking for something new and exciting.” Said Tarynn.   Limited Edition Cienna Hot Cross Bun is available for a deliciously limited time at Liquorland & First Choice Liquor market and online at brownbrothers.com.au.   #ColesLiquor #BrownBrothers #BrownFamilyWineGroup Tarynn Barrie | Mia Lloyd | Ally Barron | James Kelly | Olivia van den Berg | Mary Lemonidis | Monique Brougham | Lee Ward | Priscilla Salvaris | Amy van Bekkum
