    Four years post-pandemic, in what way do meetings look different than they used to? Here are some key insights from a recent analysis of 40 million virtual meetings: • Inefficient Meetings: 𝟲𝟴% 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, and up to one-third of meetings are deemed unnecessary, costing billions in productivity. • Meeting Volume: Despite return-to-office policies, meeting numbers remain high, averaging 𝟭𝟬.𝟭 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 in 2023. • No-Participation Rates: 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟰.𝟴% 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝘁𝗼 𝟳.𝟮% 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 for small group meetings, costing organizations millions. • Camera Use and Retention: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟴.𝟰% 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, compared to 32.5% for those who stayed. • Cultural Shifts: Companies that 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝟲𝟱% 𝗳𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 and saved their employees 21 minutes per week. Some tips help navigate the new hybrid meeting landscape: 1. 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 generated from your virtual meetings and collaborative tools to gain insights and make informed decisions to improve meeting efficiency 2. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 where meetings are productive, purposeful, and respectful of participants' time. 3. 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 with the tools, strategies, and autonomy to optimize their work schedules Do you think you attend too many meetings in a week?
