⚡ Our Queensland operations are set to operate with 100 per cent of electricity needs under renewable power arrangements. ⚡ - BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) in partnership with CleanCo Queensland signed a new power purchase agreement (PPA). - The new seven-year PPA commencing from FY2027 is expected to allow BMA to meet all of its forecasted electricity needs from sources such as solar, wind and pumped hydro. - Queensland is set to become the first Australian operations at BHP to run under renewable power arrangements for 100 per cent of their electricity needs. #PPA #sustainable #mining

Meet Trista, Courtney, Daniel, Chloe and Kelsey from our Olympic Dam apprentice workshop, in South Australia. ‘I’ve always wanted a trade to take home and just want to broaden my skillset as far as I can, learn new things,’ said Trista. Whether it’s taking apart an engine, or welding and fabricating custom pieces, the workshop gives apprentices the chance to get their hands dirty and gives them access to all the tools they need to learn their trade. 👏 Spence celebrates 3 months of 100% autonomous operation. 👏 We were delighted to welcome our collaborative partners from Komatsu to our Spence operations. They had the opportunity to witness the results of the first stage of our operation, following the successful deployment of 33 CAEX 980E-5 AT trucks and 5 drilling rigs. ✔️ Since achieving full autonomy, Spence has completed the movement of 80 million tons of material without incidents, exceeding the production plan to date. ✔️ This is the largest autonomy fleet operating in Latin America and is among the largest in copper production. #chile #mining #autonomous

💪🏾 When fully ramped up, our Jansen potash project is expected to produce over 8.5 million tonnes of potash each year. 🤯 That means BHP is expected to produce about 10% of the world's potash. 📅 First production is planned for late 2026, and we can't wait to see potash from Jansen contribute to more sustainable land use and food security. 🌱
