⚡ This week the team took the opportunity to tour the proposed Big-T pumped hydo site at Lake Cressbrook. Big T will play a vital role in delivering clean and reliable energy to southeast Queensland, powering up to 288,000 homes with up to 10 hours of dispatchable energy. Big-T is also a key part of the Southern Queensland Renewable Energy Zone (SQREZ), which will enable more solar and wind projects to come online and help the Queensland Government reach its 50 percent renewable energy target by 2030. Big-T will generate $163.8 million per year for the regional economy over its first 40 years of operation, creating jobs and opportunities for local businesses. We are committed to continuing our industry and stakeholder engagement to enable local content outcomes from project investment in our region.
