We were honoured to welcome proud Nyul Nyul Saltwater Man from the Kimberley in Western Australia Lowell Hunter, also known as Salty One, to our office yesterday. Lowell shared his inspiring journey and the deep connection to Country and culture that fuels his breathtaking sand art. His work beautifully captures the intricate relationship between culture, land, and community. We are thrilled to have licensed Lowell’s stunning pieces for the cover and back page of our First Nations Recognition and Respect Strategy. When it comes to the ethics of fashion, Bank Australia customer Emma Hakansson knows the lay of the land like few others. We are proud to announce our first partnership with For Purpose Investment Partners. Alongside other banks and super funds we are providing funding support via a syndicated debt facility for For Purpose Aged Care Australia (FPACA) platform and their acquisition of Signature Care. FPACA aims to enhance the quality of aged care services across Australia and currently has eight operational residential aged care facilities, and a growth pipeline of six development sites. Tim von Ess, our Head of Impact Lending, shared, "Through Bank Australia’s impact lending, we aim to meet our customers’ expectations that their money is used to generate positive social and environmental impact. We’re pleased to be involved in FPACA’s acquisition of Signature Care and helping to increase the supply of high-quality aged care accommodation and care for older Australians."
