This morning I got to spend time with all the boys and staff at Azzurri Concrete A company I hold close to my heart. Christopher used to work along side some of the boys there today...so today was a bit harder, as I reminisced some of the laughs Christopher used to share with me as we drove home when it came to the Concreters. Here is one the messages sent to me by one of the office workers. "Thank you for sharing Christopher and your story today Patrizia. I do payroll for Azzurri and not on site but the impact your presentation had today was incredible." If you would like more information on having a safety presentation that takes workers on a journey to.... 1. the reality of what a tragedy looks like 2. shifting complacency and learning to recognise a she'll be right moment, re-evaluating their decision to make sure it's the right one, because it takes a couple of minutes to decide but a couple of seconds for tragedy to strike and then its too late. 3. One Sydney Harbour’s Residences Two and Watermans Residences are the final piece of Barangaroo South’s transformation. Together with Lendlease and Azzurri Concrete, we were able to bring these impressive residential towers to life using our award winning HySustain concrete. Through the use of HySustain we achieved a CO2 reduction greater than 30% for the Residences Two tower and 40% for the Watermans Residences tower compared to reference case. In addition to this low carbon outcome, HySustain provided a range of high performance characteristics, including achieving early age strength targets, low shrinkage and significantly improving concrete durability. To cap it off, the concrete was pumped all the way to level 86! It is important for our industry to continue to strive to innovate lower carbon solutions. It’s about time!

#Announcement | PROJECT WIN - City Tattersalls Club Redevelopment Azzurri Concrete is proud to have been chosen by Richard Crookes Constructions to deliver one of Sydney CBD's projects. The City Tattersalls Club Redevelopment project presents an extraordinary opportunity to revitalise a historic building on Pitt Street, creating a mixed-use destination at the heart of the CBD precinct. This redevelopment involves supplying nearly 20,000m3 of concrete across approximately 40,000m2 spread over 53 stories, including 4 basement levels, a club, a hotel, and 241 residential suites with high-quality amenities for retail, hotel accommodation, and residential use. Azzurri Concrete is looking forward to commencing work in May 2024, with completion expected in early 2026.
