Offering high-quality training and professional development is a core element of At Home Care. That's why we partner with reputable training organisations like Training Unlimited to provide our team with the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Individual Support Traineeship (Disability). The workplace-based traineeship allows participants to enhance their skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and access to industry support. Last month, we signed up Western Australian participants for Perth and the Southwest.

We're proud to announce that one of At Home Care's incredible teams has been nominated for the 2024 WA Disability Support Awards. Jasmine McGough suffered a spinal cord injury in 2022, and her team are nominated for playing a pivotal role in supporting her transition from hospital to living and thriving at home and in her community. Jasmine's mother, Sophie, nominated the At Home Care team for providing a standard of care "comparable to a hospital setting." In the submission, Sophie said about the team, "Team Jas not only meets Jasmine's complex care needs but also played a transformative role in her academic, physical and emotional wellbeing, allowing our family to navigate this challenging journey with newfound confidence." For the third year in a row, members of At Home Care have been nominated for the WA Disability Support Award. We are ecstatic to see our team members recognised at both state and national levels in 2022 and 2023. At Home Care is passionate about raising the standard of disability care in Australia. We congratulate all the nominees for their incredible service and commitment to quality care and inclusion. #wadisabilitysupportawards #wadisabilitysupportawards2024 #disabilityawards #ndsawards #disabilityservices #disabilitysupport #disabilitycare Find out more about the awards at https://lnkd.in/gfmPF4gD

It was another fantastic year for Rebound WA, Wheelchair Rugby WA and the West Coast Enforcers as they hosted their final game of 2023. The turnout for the last game was incredible. We look forward to seeing the action in the new year! As long-time supporters, we are proud to continue to be part of this amazing community.
