PROJECT UPDATE: Bingara Gorge, NSW | Stormwater pump stations Stormwater management is a key element of sustainable urban planning and development, essential for ensuring the long-term health, safety, and prosperity of new residential areas. Bingara Gorge, NSW, is a new, picturesque community in a spectacular natural setting. To protect its landscapes and infrastructure, AQUATEC worked with Stantec, Metroproperty Advocacy and Investment, WEM Civil, to design and install multiple stormwater pump stations. In line with the project requirements, we installed four 415V three-phase submersible pumps plumbed inside 1800mmØ x 3040mm and 1800mmØ x 5040mm deep pumping chambers. AQUATEC has also designed, constructed, tested, and installed a free-standing switchboard mounted on an HD galvanised plinth with an SMS auto dialler. The system will efficiently manage stormwater, preventing flooding and mitigating erosion, ensuring the community remains picturesque and resilient for years to come. #stormwater #watermanagement #engineering #design

PROJECT UPDATE: Western Sydney International Airport | Water Complex Potable Water We started bright and early last week to capture the loading of the transportable self-bunded concrete chemical dosing building. The 20.5kL building, designed and manufactured by AQUATEC, was Sydney-bound at the Western Sydney International Airport project site. The two heavy-duty polyethylene chemical tanks (1 x 13500ltr and 1 x 7000ltr) will be installed by the AQUATEC team. The chemical dosing facility has several key components essential for its operation. These include: • Dosing pumps • Analyser package for potable and recycled supply (Chemscan Analyser) • Radar level indicators • Chemical unloading control panel • Chemical dosing switchboard Together, these components ensure accurate measurement, control, and administration of chemicals within the facility, maintaining optimal performance and adhering to strict safety standards. The team will continue working with Aerowest GmbH,  a joint venture between Seymour Whyte and BMD Group, to complete the delivery of a robust potable water infrastructure that will meet the needs of Western Sydney International Airport's substantial yearly traffic of 10 million passengers. #chemicaldosing #waterinfrastructure #aviationsafety #industrialprojects #commercialprojects

PROJECT UPDATE: Ferguson Street, Level Crossing Removal | Stormwater and Groundwater Pump Stations Over the past nine years, the Level Crossing Removal Project has removed over 80 dangerous and congested level crossings. A further 30 are planned across Melbourne by 2030. During this time, AQUATEC partnered with our clients to design, deliver, install and service significant water and wastewater infrastructure for the removal projects. For the Ferguson Street project, we partnered with the #WesternProgramAlliance to provide AQUATEC’s scope, including full stormwater and groundwater pump station design, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning. PROJECT UPDATE: Reynolds Rd, Casino, NSW | Concrete Sewer Pump Station and Rising Main Following the damage caused by the floods in February 2022, RICHMOND VALLEY COUNCIL has engaged qualified parties to design and construct new sewer pump stations and rising mains. The new infrastructure connects to the two syphon pipes traversing the Richmond River. AQUATEC worked with Newlands Group to deliver a full-scope solution for a precast pumping station and rising main to accommodate future developments in Casino's industrial precinct. We were also engaged to » design » manufacture » test » install the sewer pump station’s AS/NZ standards-compliant outdoor switchboard. The affected communities in and around Casino have shown great resilience following the devastating floods. Rebuilding the wastewater infrastructure will support the residents' recovery efforts. The new system also ensures the integrity of the infrastructure, which is vital for the environmental protection of the Richmond River Catchment and the habitats it supports. #wastewater #pumpstation #manufacturing #switchboard
