Congratulations to HIWAY on yet another successful #MasterCarbA project with CBH Group! It’s fantastic to see innovation and sustainability in road construction taking center stage, especially with the introduction of the C380CRi Cold In-Situ Recycler and Vogele Super 1800-3 Paver. Integrating biochar into these projects is a great step toward reducing environmental impacts and boosting carbon sequestration. Your work showcases the future of sustainable infrastructure, and we at ANZBIG are excited to see how biochar will continue to revolutionize road construction. #Innovation #Biochar #RoadConstruction #ColdRecycling #SustainableSolutions #CarbonSequestration
Our team is proud to deliver another successful MasterCarb A project for our valued partners at CBH Group in Perenjori. Partnering with C-Twelve , this project showcases the new C380CRi Cold In-Situ Recycler, featuring integrated high performance profiling. It marks the first time this technology has been used in Western Australia, alongside the HIWAY Vogele Super 1800-3 Paver. These stunning photographs capture the project in action, with both technologies driving greater efficiency and innovation in road construction. #Innovation #RoadConstruction #ColdRecycling #SustainableSolutions

This is because biochar locks carbon from organic materials in a stable form, preventing it from returning to the atmosphere. If biochar were used at scale globally, it is estimated that it could sequester up to 2.2 gigatons (Gt) of CO₂ annually by 2050, contributing significantly to global climate change mitigation efforts. Sustainability Spotlight: Biochar in Green Building! 🌱 This week, we’re thrilled to highlight HIWAYinnovative incorporation of biochar into their Masterclass A product, paving the way for a more sustainable future in construction. Biochar not only enhances the performance of building materials but also plays a crucial role in carbon sequestration, making it a powerhouse for sustainable construction! By using biochar as an admixture in concrete, we’re reducing our carbon footprint while promoting eco-friendly practices. We're excited to potentially collaborate with esteemed organisations like the Green Building Council of Australia, Green Star, and NABERS. Together, we're advocating for the integration of biochar into eco-certification frameworks, showcasing its potential to transform the building industry.Join us on this journey towards greener construction! Let’s build a sustainable future together—one biochar brick at a time. Help ANZBIG accelerate change! Contribute, Join ANZBIG or Partner via ANZBIG's 2024 Implementation Kickstart Fund. We are thrilled to announce ANZBIG’s new MoU with the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub, marking a significant step forward for biochar's role in decarbonisation. We're also proud to be involved in their Agrisolar AU CRC bid, which potentially integrates biochar into Agrisolar projects, making them carbon-negative and climate-positive. ANZBIG aims to support commercial demonstration projects in this emerging sector, furthering biochar sequestration and regenerative agriculture efforts. Our head of research, Stephen Joseph is volunteering his time today to attend the workshop, thank you! #Biochar #CarbonSequestration #RegenerativeAgriculture #ANZBIG #NSWDecarbHub #ClimateAction #Agrisolar #Sustainability

Welcome to Australia, Heinrick Steisdel! We are thrilled to have you here and look forward to your insightful talks. What a remarkable achievement in Vrå with the inauguration of SkyClean's pyrolysis plant! The milestone not only demonstrates the power of pyrolysis and biochar as key climate solutions but also sets an inspiring example for carbon removal efforts worldwide. We are eager to learn more about how these innovations will shape the future of biochar and sustainability given Denmark's recent incorporation of biochar as a carbon removal technology into their compliance market. Here’s to continued progress in the circular economy and our collective journey towards net zero! #Biochar #CarbonRemoval #Sustainability
What a week we had inaugurating our SkyClean pyrolysis plant in Vrå, Denmark! Take a moment to watch the highlights from the event, including the iconic moment when three government ministers and a mayor symbolically spread biochar. Around 250 guests, including our entire SkyClean team, attended. Another event highlight was the opportunity to demonstrate the power of #pyrolysis and #biochar as a climate solution by permanently offsetting the emissions from all travel to and from the event (and more) in under an hour. This was achieved through the spreading of 20 tons of freshly produced biochar on the surrounding field. The new pyrolysis plant can treat 40,000 tons of dry biogas fiber residue annually, achieving a climate impact of 42,000 tons of CO2 per year through a combination of carbon removal via biochar and avoided emissions. As we continue the work, we would like to thank everyone who joined us in marking this milestone for pyrolysis and biochar as an important #carbonremoval tool. Special thanks to: Lars Aagaard, Jeppe Bruus, Jacob Jensen, The Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities, Ministeriet for Grøn Trepart, Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Agri Energy Vrå P/S, SAMSON AGRO A/S, Søren Greve Olesen, Martin Odgaard, Claus Haagensen, Andreas G. Charge biochar before applying it to soils. This means mixing biochar with compost, manure, or a liquid fertilizer before use. Raw biochar can absorb nutrients from the soil initially, so pre-conditioning it will prevent nutrient lock-up. #ANZBIG #biochar #bioenergy #carbondrawdown #organicfarming #agriculture #organicagriculture #regenerativeagriculture #animalhealth #farmingtechnology #climatechange #renewableenergy #ImprovingSoilFertility #CarbonStorage #CarbonCapture #SustainableFarming #SoilHealth #AgricultureInnovation
