This week, Alt Tokyo had the pleasure of being invited to SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024, Japan’s premier technology event, dedicated to celebrating sustainability and tech and renowned for bringing together the latest in technology and innovation. A big thanks to Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) for inviting us to showcase our T&DA-developed AI scanner at their booth. Footage of the event was streamed in real time, and run through Stable Diffusion. It was an honor to be part of such an inspiring event!

An enjoyable last couple of days spent with the final year VFX & Animation Griffith University students. On Monday Hayley Gibson and Murray Smallwood visited the university campus to discuss internships & various opportunities The Alt Group has to offer across Alt, T&DA, New Holland and SteelBridge Studio. Murray's masterclass focused on Alt's recent work on the feature film FOE, highlighting the use of Nuke and benefits of Embergen, both programs the students are currently learning. Today, Alt opened their Brisbane studio doors to nine enthusiastic students who had a more intimate opportunity to engage in industry life. Following a studio tour Griffith Alumni Samuel Lee, 3D Modeller & Texture Artist at Alt, offered personal insights into his experience coming into industry, the ups and the downs, his favourite project breakdowns and a lengthy Q&A to wrap it all up. Wishing all the students the best results in their final exams! Please get in touch with Hayley to hear more about all the exciting opportunities Alt has to offer.
