  • Our Hydrogen Park in South Australia (HyP SA) was the first of its kind in Australia when it launched in May 2021, and it is still the largest of its type today. HyP SA is supplying its local gas network, about 4,000 households and businesses, with a volume blend of up to 10% renewable hydrogen, as well as supplying 100% renewable hydrogen to industry and transport – including public transport hydrogen buses that have travelled nearly 1 million kms since they launched! Our electrolyser at HyP SA has produced over 39,600kg of renewable hydrogen, and has delivered enough renewable gas into the local network to fuel the equivalent of nearly 100K hot showers or cook over 618K pots of pasta. Importantly, a survey of our customers receiving renewable gas showed customer satisfaction to be high, with 73% extremely or somewhat satisfied, and 27% neutral, about receiving renewable blended gas. We have been honoured to host over 5,500 delegates and visitors at HyP SA – sharing our insights and passions for renewable hydrogen! HyP SA is a project that has provided us, and the wider renewable gas industry around the world, many insights that inform bigger more ambitious projects, including Hydrogen Park Gladstone (currently being commissioned), Hydrogen Park Murray Valley, a 10MW electrolyser due to begin construction very soon, and three more hydrogen park projects in early planning phases. • We are pleased to publish our Energy Charter Disclosure Statement for the 2023/24 financial year. Now in our fifth year as a full signatory to The Energy Charter, this report reflects our ongoing commitment to its principles and the embedding of a customer-focused culture into our business.   During the past year we have taken significant steps forward in our low carbon vision, delivering a range of renewable gas projects that pave the way for sustainable energy in Australia. We have also focused on increasing awareness of our Australian-first Priority Services Program – supporting customers experiencing vulnerability. And we have made substantial progress in replacing our low-pressure gas mains network with mains replacement for AGN Victoria now complete and AGN South Australia well progressed.   AGIG recognises that support for energy customers is a whole-of-sector responsibility. The Energy Charter believes that we are Better Together, and so do we. You can read the full report here https://lnkd.in/gsrdpyj #energycharter #customerfocus #bettertogether

  • We were thrilled to launch our Priority Services Program in Victoria today, designed to support customers experiencing vulnerability. This initiative represents our commitment to supporting those doing it tough in our community, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible community and trade partners. A special thank you to the Master Plumbers and Mechanical Services Association of Australia for their dedication and hard work. Your collaboration has been instrumental in ensuring we can deliver this program swiftly and confidently, to those who need it most.   Our industry believes we’re better together, and so do we. We look forward to continuing this journey with all of you!    #priorityservices #customerservice

  • Last week our teams celebrated R U OK? Day across Australia by embracing Conversation Starter Shirts created by TradeMutt Workwear. These shirts act as a visual encouragement for us to have meaningful wellbeing conversations with everyone at work. R U OK? conversations are relevant every day of the year. Whether your role is based in an office, remote working, on a remote operational site, or on the road – mental health can be an invisible issue for all of us. And one that shouldn’t be ignored. We look forward to seeing bright pops of colour around our offices and on the road all year round, and if you happen to see one of our team in a Conversation Starter Shirt feel free to ask them about it! Inside the pocket is a handy QR code you can scan to access more information about the collaboration between TradeMutt and TIACS, or you can find more information here: https://lnkd.in/g8EUfQqs #RUOKDay #RUOK #TIACS #trademutt #mentalhealth #oneteam

  • Our Strategy Manager Owen Sharpe was very lucky to recently take part in a special Pilbara experience organised by Clontarf Foundation, one of our Flagship Partners since 2021. Over three days Owen, and other industry partners, joined a group of 20 boys from Clontarf academies based in Karratha, Port Hedland and Newman to see firsthand the great work Clontarf is doing in regional and remote areas in Western Australia.     The group spent their time camping, getting to know each other and exploring the red layered cliffs and spectacular gorges carved out by nature over billions of years in Karijini National Park. They also participated in a painting workshop with local artist, Corban Williams.     Owen shared with us on his return, “It was an unforgettable experience and a great opportunity to see firsthand the impact of our Community Partnerships Program in regional Australia – thank you AGIG”.    We are proud to be supporters of the work Clontarf does. The Clontarf Foundation helps young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men succeed by using sport to keep them engaged in school while offering guidance and life skills. After they finish school, Clontarf supports them in finding jobs and adjusting to their new roles. Seeing the boys in action on this trip showed just how much of a difference Clontarf is making in their lives and communities. We’re proud to have them as an ongoing Flagship Partner.    #clontarf #communitypartnership #australia

  • It's always a pleasure to host SA-H2H delegates at Hydrogen Park South Australia - sharing knowledge with industry is important to us. As a business we are taking active steps to deliver renewable gas today and tomorrow, and part of that journey involves collaborating with others by providing behind the scenes access that helps inform their decision making around renewable gas in distribution networks.

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for the Hydrogen Park SA tour we held last week! Thank you to the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) for the guided tour and letting us witness their incredible work firsthand. 🙌 It's partnerships like these that are making a difference in hydrogen for SA.    Here are just a few photos to recap the event!    If you missed out, be sure to follow us to be notified about our future events!   #hydrogen #electrolysers #australianenergy #hydrogenenergy

  • In an exciting year for AGIG anniversaries, last night we celebrated 25 years since Cheung Kong Infrastructure Group’s (CKI) first offshore investment. The name ‘Cheung Kong’ translates to ‘long river’. In 1999, CKI took a 19.97% stake in Envestra, the Group’s first offshore investment and first investment in gas.   This initial investment was the beginning of a ‘long river’ of further investments in Australia and around the world, growing CKI to be the global leader it is today. We celebrated on the exact day, 10-years back, when CKI purchased 100% of the shares in Envestra to later form Australian Gas Networks.   We are proud of the place we have in CKI’s corporate history. We would like to thank you Mr HL Kam, AGN Board members, shareholder representatives and our people who helped us celebrate this wonderful milestone. #25years #Gas #Anniversary

  • At AGIG we have been championing renewable gas projects around Australia as part of delivering to our Low Carbon Vision. This week our Head of Renewable Gas Development, Vikram Singh, shared details of one of our most ambitious renewable hydrogen projects to date – Hydrogen Park Wagga Wagga – at the Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils (REROC) Conference in Wagga Wagga.   Local businesses were invited to connect with us to help play their part in our ambitions to further enhance Wagga Wagga’s reputation as a clean energy hub through renewable gas projects in both renewable hydrogen and biomethane. Industry stakeholders and conference delegates joined us for breakfast at the venue, cooked on our Hydrogen BBQ, which piqued the interest for many that attended the event.   For more information about HyP Wagga Wagga please contact us at [email protected]   #renewablegas #renewablehydrogen #hypwaggawagga #waggawagga

  • Some of our team members recently attended the Whyalla Show with our Hydrogen BBQ Trailer. In partnership with the Office of Hydrogen Power South Australia (OHPSA) we cooked non-stop from 10AM until 7PM, feeding hundreds of hungry show-goers. All the proceeds from the day went to Rotary Club Whyalla.   It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Whyalla community, showcase hydrogen in action, and share more information about OHPSA's Hydrogen Jobs Plan, particularly how their efforts might contribute to local job creation and stability with eager locals.   #community #hydrogen #whyalla #rotary
