12 Buckets is a Perth-based charity that strives to equip young people in need of mentoring with the skills, support and connections to build a strong future. The 12 Buckets Mentoring programs are tailored to support young people to build resilience and work towards a brighter future. The 12 Buckets program focuses on 12 areas deemed important for overall wellbeing. These areas fall under the four categories of responsibility, community, mastery, and generosity. The bucket image remains the key element that shapes the 12 Buckets program and it represents the underlying philosophy that fullness in life comes when you pour yourself out for others. WE IMAGINE... School-aged children, regardless of background or circumstance, having every opportunity to flourish. WE STRIVE... To equip children in need of mentoring with the skills, support and connections needed to build a strong future. WE CELEBRATE... The development of independent young people contributing to their community through honed skills and generosity.

We’re excited (and a little nervous) to share that the West to West team are gearing up to take the Central Park Plunge on October 27th! Andrew de Haas, Greg Hardie, Kelly Chew and Luka M. are going to abseil down 33 FLOORS (130 meters) from the top of Central Park Tower, all for a fantastic cause – raising money for 12 Buckets. 12 Buckets Inc are about empowering young people through mentoring, creating safe spaces to connect, and helping them discover their potential. West to West has been proudly supporting them with office furniture donations and hosting their networking events at our Osborne Park office. ❤️ Central Park Perth is a familiar place for us – we manage the building's maintenance, but this time we’re seeing it from an entirely new angle! We’d like you to meet, 12 Buckets mentor and Team Mastery Plunger – Trevor Fraser Trevor was first introduced to 12 Buckets by Justin Barnes from Perth Networking Club, a passionate 12B supporter. Trevor's motivation for TAKING THE PLUNGE: Helping children has always been close to Trevor's heart and he realised he wanted to be more involved in 12 Buckets when attending one of their Sundowner Evenings in late 2023. He met Ishy (12B Student Liaison) at that event who sold him on the idea of becoming a mentor. "My connection to the cause relates to the difficulty I experienced during school including significant bullying and having limited access to my parents during the years at boarding school. Central Part Plunge is fast approaching! We'd like to introduce you to Jarred Potter, one of our treasured mentors and 2024 plungers! Jarred has been a member of the 12 Buckets community for many years now and has witnessed the beautiful things we can achieve by creating a safe space for connection for our young people. Jarred’s motivation for TAKING THE PLUNGE: “Over the past 6 years I have watched, shy kids, 'loud' kids, 'troublesome' kids, 'naughty' kid, and 'disruptive' kids have amazing transformations into successful and independent children just from being given 1 hour a week and a safe place/person within school to express themselves.
