Food for thought: Everything depends on the way YOU see it. https://lnkd.in/dHzvkjjk
We can perceive things differently. How we see things is filtered through our unique experiences, beliefs, cultural background, upbringing, etc, and influenced by emotions, biases, and limited information. This picture reminds me of the importance of practising and appreciating different perspectives. What is the benefit? - Seeing a problem or challenge from different angles to develop a better knowledge and understanding - Allows us to react rationally and considerately rather than impulsively - Be objective and unbiased - Keep things in a more balanced viewpoint #perspective #viewpoint

Own your time 🕰️ How? Here is a brillant post on time management methods. I would also add the idea by Naval Ravikant of the value of your time: to set an personal aspirational hourly rate and outsource tasks that cost less than your hourly rate.

Master your time & you'll master your life. Here's how: Becoming super productive isn't just about getting more done every day. It's about getting the right things done as efficiently as possible. Introducing "15 Methods to Master Your Time" by my friend Justin Mecham. Use these techniques to: ↳ Supercharge your focus ↳ Skyrocket your productivity ↳ Transform the way you work These battle-tested methods will enable you to work smarter and live better. What's your favorite technique? ____________ Pomodoro Technique • Use timer to work in 25 minute bursts. • Take a short 5-min break. • Take a longer 15-30 min break after 4 cycles. Eisenhower Matrix • Prioritize tasks by importance & urgency • Complete urgent & important tasks first. • Schedule, delegate, or delete others accordingly. 80/20 Method • Identify the tasks that have the most impact. • Focus 20% of effort on those tasks. • Expect 80% of your results from them. 3-3-3 Method • Reserve 3 hrs for deep work. • Complete 3 shorter (but still important) tasks. • Address 3 maintenance tasks. ABCDE Method • Label tasks A-E by importance. • Complete the 'A' tasks first. • Delegate or eliminate 'D' & 'E' tasks. Eat the Frog • Start the day with your most challenging task. • Makes everything feel "downhill" after that. • Gain momentum & a sense of achievement early. 2-Minute Rule • If a task takes less than 2 min, do it now. • Schedule or delegate larger tasks. • Helps small tasks from piling up. Kanban Board • Visualize tasks as either 'To Do', 'Doing', of 'Done'. • Drag tasks across as they are progressed. • Optimizes prioritization & flow. Getting Things Done (GTD) • Capture all tasks. • Clarify and organize into lists. • Reflect and engage with action. Time Blocking • Dedicate blocks for specific tasks. • Include breaks & varied task types. • Ensures dedicated focus times. Task Batching • Group similar tasks together. • Work on these in dedicated time blocks. • Increases focus & efficiency. 1-3-5 Method • Choose 1 big, 3 medium & 5 small tasks. • Prioritize this manageable daily task load. • Ensures a balanced workload. MSCW Method • Categorize tasks by necessity for project success. • Must-haves are critical, nice-to-haves are less so. • Defer won't-haves to future phases. Warren Buffet 5/25 Rule • List 25 important tasks. • Pick the top 5 to focus on • Avoid rest until those top 5 are complete. Pickle Jar Method • Fit in major tasks first. • Slot in smaller tasks around them. • Regularly adjust & reassess priorities. ___________ Repost this to help others in your network ♻️ And follow Eric Partaker for more content like this.
