    📈 Outstanding results - EROI 📈 It is crucial to understand the environmental impact of green hydrogen production technologies to make an informed decision on which technology to use. The Energy return on investment (EROI) is a comparison of the cumulative energy demand (CED) required to build a hydrogen plant and the amount of renewable energy produced by it. The photocatalytic reactor developed by Redeem produces in about 4 years the hydrogen needed to equal the energy employed in its production. This is less than a third of the time needed for the Proton Exchange Membrane Electrolysis technology used today to equal the energy consumed for its production. This shows the difference innovative material and equipment design can bring to the field of renewable energy.
