At the RD20 Tokyo Symposium, ISGAN SIRFN presented key points regarding the collaboration between RD20 and ISGAN SIRFN. The focus was on advancing next-generation smart grid technologies through global collaboration under the ISGAN SIRFN framework. Today, in an official side-event to #CEM15MI9 in Foz de Iguazu, Brazil, ISGAN launched a new Policy Brief on long-term planning of smart distribution grids. It calls for increased policy attention to the importance of low- and medium-voltage grids and their key role in clean energy transitions. Specifically, it outlines how policymakers can de-risk investment by creating favourable framework conditions enabling forward-looking, agile and collaborative grid planning practices.
