Hilti Austria Industrie GmbH is based in Lanzenkirchen, Austria and was founded in 1993. The Hilti Group acquired the company in July 2011 and expanded the facilities in 2015. Today, the facility hosts manufacturing of Hilti’s innovative range of substructure systems for ventilated facades. It is also home to our development teams for ventilated façades, allowing us to test new solutions and ideas in constant alignment with production and supply. We further operate our own engineering office, which develops specific project designs for end-customers around the globe. Ventilated façade systems made by us are known for their high quality, long lifetime, high load-bearing capability and energy-efficiency. Hilti ventilated façade substructure systems have been used in many leading construction projects, such as the Gazprom Arena, in St. Petersburg, “The Corniche” towers, in London, or the 264-meter-high Triumph Tower, in Moscow. Our global center of excellence for pipe fastening is also located at our site, where we develop productive and innovative solutions in the field of pipe clamps and pipe shoes. Our success is driven by distinction, defying convention and powering some of the world’s most ambitious feats of engineering for our customers.

    Sustainability is at the core of Hilti's 2030 strategy and in the name of one of our key customers NetZero Facades Ltd. Today, we spent a really inspiring morning together, discussing where we see the facade industry going and how we can reduce carbon footprint by using green aluminium.     We are proud to announce that our Sustainability Manager, Stefanie Gritzmann, was invited to speak at the ÖFHF (Österreichischer Fachverband für hinterlüftete Fassaden / Austrian association for ventilated facades). 🙌 She shared her insights on the green deal and EU legislation, and how they affect the ventilated facade industry. 🌱 It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with others, and to showcase our commitment to environmental and social responsibility. 🌍 Thank you, Stefanie Gritzmann, for representing us and for your inspiring contribution! 👏💚

    "Nachhaltigkeit und deren gesetzliche Grundlagen" auf dem ÖFHF Themenabend 2023 Stefanie Gritzmann, MSc, Hilti Austria Stefanie Gritzmann, MSc, Sustainability Managerin bei Hilti Austria referierte über den Green Deal. Kaum jemand wisse, was das konkret bedeute. Er bestehe aus vielen Gesetzen und Initiativen der EU, mit dem Ziel, Verbraucher zu schützen. Ein wichtiger Punkt dabei sei die Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung für große Unternehmen. Ziel müsse sein, diesen quantitativ und qualitativ vergleichbar darzustellen. Schlagworte wie CO2-neutral, klimaneutral, nachhaltige Produkte werden in Zukunft klarer reguliert, denn die EU hat ehrgeizige Klimaziele. Die Taxonomieverordnung zielt darauf ab, Wirtschaftsaktivitäten in konform oder nicht konform zu gliedern. Sie macht darauf aufmerksam, dass gerade viele Gesetze in Ausarbeitung sind.
