! Testing Unitree 3D Mapping Feature ! We continue exploring the features of the Unitree Robotics quadruped robots, and this time we tested #Go2’s #3D mapping and #navigation capacity, while also taking advantage of the voice module. Thanks to a #4D #LiDAR on board, Go2 is capable of generating accurate #pointcloud map of the surrounding and then autonomously follow a path within this map. This high-precision mapping is also synchronised with the vision of the dog, which enables an operator to observe the environment and perform #digital documentation and #inspection. Overall, this feature is incredibly useful for tasks that require consistent and accurate movement within pre-defined spaces, such as routine inspections, equipment monitoring, or warehouse operations.
