☀️For three sunny days at St. Georgen Ybbsfelde, Honeywell conducted flight trials for their ground-based Detect and Avoid (DAA) system using their unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) alongside the Frequentis air traffic management system. Here we were able to test existing services and new conflict detection and avoidance services. The trials included integrating ground control stations with unmanned traffic management and handling challenging scenarios such as avoiding intruder drones. Special guest Eugenio Diotalevi from IFATCA joined, and local spectators also gathered to watch the tests!
