Many congratulations to our DART-750 team, who celebrated another milestone this week for our new aerobatic trainer aircraft, with it taking part in its first display flight before the public at the Farnborough International Airshow! #DiamondAircraft’s Head of Flight Test, Soeren Pedersen, piloted the successful flight, which included aerobatic maneuvers like half loops, knife edge rolls, slow flight, and inverted flight. Adding to our hugely successful flight training range, the DART-750 will be Diamond’s first military turboprop trainer, and the first turboprop trainer designed entirely in the 21st Century - making it the most modern training aircraft in its class. The DART is on static display at the Diamond Aircraft stand, E036, for the rest of #FIA2024. #WeFlyDiamondAircraft 💎✈️

In addition to the three new #SpecialMission aircraft, the contract also includes ground stations, training, spare parts, and follow-on support. “This contract marks a significant milestone in our special mission aircraft department”, said Mario Spiegel, Sales Manager Diamond Special Misson Aircraft. “The DA62 MPP is designed to deliver exceptional performance in demanding environments, and we are confident that these aircraft will greatly enhance Greece’s firefighting and search & rescue capabilities. It’s our great honor to announce that Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA) has recently received two brand-new DA42-VI, and has also ordered six more DA40 NG, an additional seven DA42-VI, as well as two convertible DA40/DA42 FNPT II simulators! TAFA is expanding its training capacity to meet Turkish Airlines’ increasing need for qualified pilots.
